Chapter Thirteen- We're Official

Chapter Thirteen

Marcus' POV

By the afternoon, everyone who was staying at Caspar's and Joe's knew about Lauren and my dinner date that we were having tonight.

It was nearly 7pm and I was waiting on Lauren, who was in the bathroom with Zoe. Zoe was in there apparently helping her with her make-up. Lauren didn't need any help being a Beauty Guru on YouTube, but Zoe insisted. Zoe had lent Lauren a dress to wear for tonight, Alfie had told me.

"Where are you taking her?" Joey asked me. The thing was I didn't know where to bring her, until a few hours ago, when Joe recommended me to bring Lauren to this restaurant just 5 minutes from the apartment.

"This fancy restaurant. The name escapes me sorry." I replied.

"It's okay Marcus-anya!" He laughed.

I was wearing a suit that Caspar lent me to the date. I hadn't brought anything fancy to wear because I never expected to go on a date or somewhere special during this time that I was staying here.

The bathroom door opened and we all glanced to have a little look. Out came Lauren in a beautiful white dress. I stood up and walked over to her.

"You look amazing." I complimented her.

She smiled, "Thank you Marky, you look dashing yourself."

"We have to take a photo of you two!" Zoe grinned.

"What for? Not like we can post it anywhere." I laughed.

"Oh, yeah. But just for memories!"

"Fine," I got out my phone and handed it to her. I put my hand around Lauren's waist and then stood still in a pose for the photo.

"Don't you guys look like a legitimate couple!" Jim laughed, "Where are you two going? Do you guys need a ride?"

"We're just going to a restaurant 5 minutes from here. We'll take a taxi." I smiled, "Thanks though."

"It's alright! Are you sure?"

"Yeah, we are Jimbob." Lauren said and then smiled.

I link my arm with Lauren's. "I'll call the taxi for you, shall I?" Jim asked.

"Jim! Stop trying to organise things!" Lauren giggled.

"I'm just trying to help." He laughed too.

I laughed. "You can if you want to Jim, I haven't."

Jim chuckled, "See Laur? At least someone appreciates my help."

She laughed and I did too.

Jim called a taxi and we left the apartment, there voices trailing behind us, 'Hope you have fun' 'Treat her right' 'Don't do anything too exciting!' and of course, 'Larcus'

We hopped into the taxi and I told the driver the destination.

Lauren's POV

The taxi drove us to wherever Marcus had told him to go to and I sat snuggled in with Marcus.

We finally arrived and then Marcus lead me to a table at the back. It wasn't as romantic as our first date, but what do you expect for a second date. We got served and then we talked.

"I've been meaning to tell you something Lauren.." Marcus said, he voice sounding nervous but at the same time mysterious. I wondered what he needed to tell me.

"Yes Marky?"

He looks me in the eyes, "I love you. And I want us to be an item. I understand if you say no since this is kind of rushed and we've only been on one date, but-"

I smiled, he was so cute when he rambled, "I love you too and I want us to be an item too." I was happy that he felt the same as I did.

He beamed and pecked me on the lips. "So is Larcus official now?" He asked, laughing.

"It seems like it.." I replied.

We chatted for the rest of the night about how we had our relationship 'helpers.' Eg: Tyler and Joey for me and Alfie and Zoe for Marcus.

It was an amazing night. We went to a photobooth and took photos together afterwards. 'For the memories' as Zoe said when she took the photos of us before we left.

We got two copies of the photos and then after that we went back to Caspar and Joe's apartment.

We suspected that everyone probably was asleep. It was 10pm. When we entered the apartment, Zoe, Alfie and Joey were in the kitchen, waiting for us to come home I think.

"So, how was the date Larcus?" Joey asked, as soon as he saw us.

"It was amazing." We showed them the photos that we took together at the photobooth. The three of them cooed and complimented how cute we looked together.

We both smiled.

Finn's POV

I heard the front door to Caspar and Joe's apartment open. Everyone was asleep in the living room except for Alfie, Zoe and Joey. They were stood in the kitchen chatting and watching Orange is The New Black. Of course they were, Joey was there. He absolutely loved that show.

I opened my ears up to nose on what they were whispering about. They were discussing about there date that they had had.

I silently listened to them talking.

"Oh my gosh! Larcus is cannon! Congrats!" Joey smiled and went over to Lauren to hug her.

"So, are you going to tell your viewers?" Alfie asked.

Lauren and Marcus glanced at each other. "Um, we talked about it, and we thought that it'll be best if we were kept quiet for the first few weeks or even months. We'll just tell our friends and stuff and we'll make sure that you guys don't make it obvious that we're girlfriend and boyfriend." Marcus explained.

The all nodded. "We understand, Zoe and I felt the same, as you know, when were first together. Anyway, congrats." Alfie and Marcus hugged and they started opening and closing cupboards. I think that they were having a midnight snack.

So they didn't want there viewers to know? Um. So what should I do? Tell the viewers? I think so. This was an attempt to get her single again so that I can finally date her myself. Marcus and her aren't meant to be together. They're just best friends.

I just needed Jack's help for this. He'll know what to do. He was Jack. I'd do anything to be with Lauren. I usually wouldn't try to do these things, but it appeared that I was pretty desparate. Being desparate leads to things happening.
