I woke up later than I usually do that morning. I opened my eyes and frowned. It was eleven in the morning. I rolled over and stretched my arm out. Jungkook wasn't there. I frowned and sat up, rubbing my eyes. Where was he? As I stood up, the door opened to a guilty looking Jungkook.
"(Y/n), I'm sorry I wasn't there. I tried to cook breakfast, but... it didn't really work out," he spoke quietly as if he did something wrong. I only giggled and stood up stretching out. His eyes widened as he stared at my clothes. I looked down and realized that I was wearing a long shirt and nothing else. Not only was I not wearing any panties, I wasn't wearing anything but the shirt. You could see the bandages that covered my thighs.
But Jungkook wasn't looking at them. He was looking at the hem of my shirt and how it dropped down to a place that wasn't so low. I blushed at Jungkook's line of vision. I quickly grabbed a pillow and covered my thighs with it. Reluctantly, Jungkook raised his eyes and met mine. "Sorry, (y/n). I don't know why I did that."
I let out a nervous chuckle. "It's fine..." When I left I trudged back to my room. When I closed the door I began exploring the room. The bedsheets where a forest green color. The walls were painted a crime color and the floor was ivory. There were pure white cabinets and a small, silver chandelier hung from the ceiling. The kind of chandelier that had lightbulbs that lit up the room but was also very decorative. There was a large walk in closet that was empty and had a forest green round storage ottoman.
Across the room where two white doors with silver handles. When I opened the doors I saw a big bathroom that had a shower with a clear door and marble inside. There was a white bathtub with jacuzzi jets right next to it. There was a black granite counter with a pure white sink in the center. It had a large mirror above it and on the counter sat an option of different soaps, shampoos, and conditioners.
I grabbed a pair of clothes that consisted of a large, light blue shirt and a black skirt and headed to the bathroom to take a shower. After my hot shower, I blow dried my hair and pulled it into a messy bun. I left the bedroom and walked down the many steps to get to the kitchen. Inside the kitchen Jungkook stood scratching his head. I walked up beside him and my eyes widened. Burned pancakes covered the counter and the eggs he tried to cook miraculously stuck to the pan.
"All my life I have never seen this, Jungkookie," I said in amusement. He turned to me and gave me a sheepish smile. I cleaned up the pan and the counter and began cooking an actual edible breakfast. Jungkook watched me, staring at my hands as they reached for ingredient after ingredient. Jungkook eventually left to set the table and when we were done, I set down two cheese omelettes and two English muffins.
After breakfast Jungkook said that we should go swimming in the pool out in the backyard. I froze because he hadn't seen all my scars yet. I immediately declined, trying desperately to convince him. He looked at me suspiciously but told me that I could skip swimming.
I wasn't a good swimmer anyways. In fact, I could hardly swim. I wanted Jungkook to be happy, but I don't know if I was safe to show him all my scars. Even if I did end up trusting him, I don't want to hurt him by showing him my scars, or have him be disgusted and hurt me.
Jungkook was swimming as I watched him from the pool deck. Puddles of water covered the pool's perimeter. Jungkook was at the shallow end that was on the far end of the pool when a cluster of bees flew up around me. I began to run a little bit, swatting at the air. When I was at the edge of the pool, I could hear Jungkook shout right when I stepped on a puddle. My foot slipped beneath me and I tumbled into the water below me.
I began thrashing around in the water, struggling to stay afloat. The large shirt slipped off my body as I thrashed my legs, desperate to get air. My vision blurred and my lungs burned like an inferno. I felt a strong arm curl around my waist and my body was heaved out of the water.
Jungkook set me on the pool edge as I coughed up water. I wasn't even aware of the fact that I was wearing nothing but a bra to cover up my body. Jungkook stared at me in concern as he eyed my body. After my violent coughing, I focused on Jungkook and realized he was mouthing a word.
