Charlie gave Cas' hand a squeeze. "It won't be that bad Sprinkle. It's okay."
The walked into the gay bar and Dean smirked. "I haven't been here since high school."
"Dean, you went to a gay bar in high school? We shouldn't even be here now." Dean gave a small laugh. "Please, I came here in 8th grade."They went into the bar and a man in a tight-fitting suit escorted them to a large room in the back.
"Cas and Dean, I'd like you to meet Lisa and Jo, Lisa and Jo I would like you to meet Cas and Dean."
"Dean." Lisa's lips pressed into a tight line. "Good to see you again Lisa," Dean smirked with a little wink.
Castiel's face turned red instantly. He didn't know what had gone on between them, but for some reason, it made him insanely jealous. "Who's up for some drunk truth or dare?" Jo piped up. Everybody was so quick to agree that Cas couldn't express his concerns.
They sat around the purple silk table and ordered their drinks. When the waitress came to Cas, he just shrugged. "Water with lemon?" she rolled her eyes. "I don't get paid enough for this sh-"
"Hey if he wants water, get him the damn water!" Dean growled, anger flashing in his green eyes. She walked away, rolling her eyes. "Thanks, Dean. I uh... appreciate it." Dean just nodded and smiled, the previous anger was already gone. "Truth or dare?" Charlie nodded and smiled. "Truth or dare."
Cas didn't realize what was going on until it was his turn. "Cas. Truth or dare?" Cas sighed. He couldn't pick truth, he had too much going on in his home life. "Dare." Charlie, Lisa, and Jo all smiled and huddled.
"Why don't I get to be part of this?" Dean asked, looking at them with his eyebrows raised, Charlie just looked up and winked before continuing the conversation. They all dispersed and had evil smiles on their faces. Cas gulped. He was not ready.
"We dare you..." Cas ran his hands over his face. He was not ready. "To..." he was not ready. "Kiss..." He was not ready he couldn't do this maybe he should just fake throwing up and- "Dean."
He turned towards Dean to object, but Dean was already leaning in. Cas was freaking out. Everybody in this room was obviously drunk except him, and his roommate one of his only friends was about to kiss him.
"It's a good test Sprinkle. Maybe you can tell if you really are pan."
Castiel was having a panic attack.
"Dean I-"
He was cut off when Dean's lips smashed against his. Dean made the scent of gunpowder and stale beer smell pleasant but nonetheless, Castiel was still having a panic attack. Although Dean's eyes were closed, Cas' eyes stayed wide open. He was having a panic attack. He was kissing Dean, and having a panic attack
When it felt like five hours had passed, Cas shoved Dean away. Tears were prickling in the back of his eyes. He had to get out before they spilled over. "Fuck you," he said calmly. "That was my first kiss you pricks." he was surprised at how even his voice sounded given the fact that on the inside he felt like he was dying.
He slammed the door on his way out and took his own car home. He didn't care that everybody else would just have to get an Uber. He ignored the three calls from Charlie, the voices yelling at him to come back. He didn't care if they felt bad. They screwed him over.
He turned the windshield wipers on before he realized that it was just his own tears blurring his vision.
He got back into the dorm and started crying harder than he ever had before. He had wasted his first kiss on Dean friggin Winchester.
He sat on his bed and cried. He cried until he had no tears left, and at that point, he just sat on his bed dry sobbing.
He tucked his knees into his chest and tried his best to take deep breaths, but they were so shaky he felt like he was going to fall off the bed. He heard footsteps outside the door and sprinted into the bathroom.
As soon as he heard the knock, his entire body tensed up. His heart started beating faster and he could feel himself hyperventilating. "Cas?" Dean's voice caused him physical pain and his breath caught in his throat and he fell silent.
"Cas?" Dean's voice slurred more with every second passing. "Cas c'mon man." He drew out the words slowly and leaned on the door. Castiel heard him slid down and sit with his back against the door.
It was only then that Cas realized he had classes tomorrow with either Dean and or Charlie. His only two friends had betrayed him and took his first kiss. "Cas?"
Dean stood up and walked away. Cas slowly counted to one hundred, sighed and stood up.
As he was walking out, Dean was on his bed just getting ready to lie down. "Cas please." Dean stood up and walked over to Cas. Cas sighed and straightened his posture. "Dean. If you take one step closer to me, I will slap you." Dean shook his head. "No, you won't Cas."
He took a step forward.
Cas slapped him as hard as he could. Dean grabbed his hands and fell to the ground. "Okay. I know I deserved that, but now that you've gotten it out of your system, can we please talk about it?"
Cas tightened his jaw. "I hate you, Dean Winchester."
He flopped on his bed with his head in the pillow and cried silently into it. Even when he felt like he was suffocating, his lungs were on fire and he couldn't breathe, he didn't move. He didn't stop crying.
He was suffocating.
He was drowning.
He was in pain.
He was dying, and it was all because of Dean Winchester.
