"REMUS? REMUS LUPIN? Is that you?" Jessie stared at her friend that evening.
Remus turned around, stopping dead in the hallway. "Jessica?"
Jessie threw herself into her best friends arms crying. "After Lily...well you dropped off the face of the earth Remus! And have you heard? Sirius is out!"
"Jessie, he betrayed you and James. He's the reason Lily died. The reason your son nearly died!" Remus scolded in a quite voice.
Jessie shook her head. "James and Sirius were best mates, Moony. You know that! Sirius would rather die than give up our secrets! Besides, Peter was the secret-keeper in the end!"

"Harry James Potter! What have I told you about running off on life threatening—" Jessie stopped dead. "SIRIUS!" She screamed, jumping into her friends arms.
"Mum! Get away! He's a murderer! He betrayed you!" Harry shouted.
"No, Harry he didn't!" Remus said from behind her, grinning and hugging his old friend.
"Sirius Black never betrayed anyone, Harry," Jessie said softly, wishing James were here to see his best friend.
