Chapter 6. Just like it used to be expect different.

After lunch, Zeref sat on the ground with a stuffed stomach. Mavis really knew how to cook.

"Wake up, sleepy head."

"What, did I fall asleep?"

"Nope but you were gonna to."

"Oh, Mavis."

"Tag, you're it!"

"Hey, come back here."

With that,Zeref and Mavis tore through forests and swam across streams.

It was how it used to be and it might stay the same.

When, Zeref got close enough he grabbed Mavis' skirt which caused her to fall and Zeref getting a good view of her panties.

At this, Zeref was red and immediately let go to help his friend.

"Mavis, are you alright?" Zeref asked looking at her. At first, he didn't get an answer from her and thought something was wrong.

"Zeref, I fell because you grabbed my skirt and I fell head first which meant...."

"Which meant what?"

"You got a good view of my underwear." Mavis answered turning around with a scary expression on her face.

Zeref was beyond scared as the blonde began walking towards him with red eyes.

"I..I'm s..s...sorry." Zeref stuttered in fear of his friend. She didn't answer and waited until she got close to him before starting to tickle him.

"Mavis, stop please!" Zeref laughed loudly before pushing Mavis off of him and started tickling her.

"Zeref. stop!"

"Nope, that's payback Blondie."

"What, did you call me?"

"Blondie, got a problem with that?" Zeref teased.

"Yes, I do." Mavis answered pouncing onto the young man. Zeref quickly reacted and got her of of him.

"Come back, here Zeref!"

"Nah, I don't think so." were answered running away. Mavis was soon on his tail even though she was wearing a dress.

They played around the island all day and soon they were seen sitting against tall tree.

"The stars are really pretty, right Mavis?" Zeref asked before seeing the sleeping girl with her head rested on his shoulder.

Zeref got a good view of Mavis' face. He thought it was cute and brushed her bangs aside. Zeref then planted a soft kiss on her forehead before laying her down to sleep on the ground and walking deep into the dark forest.

Yo peps. As you may have guessed, this story take a place before Zeref had his powers. Just putting that out there.
