Chapter 13. It feels good to be back!

"Well, I'm leaving now. I should be expecting to see y'all in a few hours."

"Mavis, be careful."

"Don't worry, Yuri. I'll be fine."

As Mavis got her small boat, she couldn't help but  cry. What is Zeref doesn't remember her?"

"Finally, I made it here." Mavis yawned stretching.

She started to walk into the forest, when she heard whispers. Being scared, she jumped into the bushes.

Mavis saw someone dressed all in black walking past her before he stopped.

Out of nowhere, a spider appeared on her shoulder.

"Shoo."

Then the spider appeared on her nose.

"KKYYYAAAA!!!!" Mavis screamed jumping out of the bush.

"Who are you?"

"Zeref? Is that you?"

"How do you know my name, answer me!"

"Zeref, don't you remember me? I'm Mavis. Mavis Vermilion, your best friend."

"Mavis, is that you?"

"Yes, Zeref it's me."

"Stay away, I don't want to hurt you."

"You can't hurt me."

"Yes, Mavis I can."

"Zeref what happened to you?"

"I became stronger and now, I'll be able to create a world free of suffering and pain."

"Zeref, please stop this."

"I can't and you're in my way."

"I have a few hour  before anyone else gets here and that's all the time I need to stop you."

"Mavis, get away from me." Zeref hissed earning him a slap.

"What happened to you? You just to be a kind and caring person who loved me. What happened? What happened to that Zeref!"

"That Zeref is no more for now I have  become the Black Wizard Zeref!"

"You learned that Magic, I told you not to!"

"It doesn't matter, what you say any more, Vermilion."

"Or, and I have something to say. I lied to you."

"What do you mean?"

"My feelings. I never liked you! I pretended that I did to get you off the island."

That was it for Mavis. Her world crumbled. It was all an act. He was just playing with her emotions. He never truly cared.

Mavis broke down crying. Zeref  stood there laughing. Mavis walked up to Zeref and gave him a hard, lid well deserved slap.

All that was left was a red Mark on his face.

"That must hurt." Sombre hissed hearing the slap.

" You broke your promise." Mavis cried.

"Yeah, I did didn't I?"

"I have to stop you."

"Gather, O light that guides fairies."

"What is this magic?"

"Shine, to perish the fangs of evil."

"Wait..stop!"

"Fairy Glitter!"
