"Good Afternoon, Ladies. How is your day going so far?" The Dean, Mr. Mitchell asked.

"Not so good. Lexi got beat up." Taylor blurted out and I smacked her on the arm playfully.

He raised an eyebrow at me.

"New kid, I think his name was Becket, he was picking on another girl, they are the same age, and I was helping her out because I hate it when kids get bullied. Then he was giving me lip and then I just punched him for bullying Madison and me. Then he started to attack me. When I fell to the ground, he stopped and walked away." I told Mr. Mitchell.

"Ok. Thanks for letting me know. Please come to my office and we can talk about if further." He said.

We walked over to hall 7 and into his office. He sat down behind his desk and Meg, Tay, Elle and I sat on the other side of it.

"Ok. So, this new kid, his name is indeed Becket Nickle and he's a kid that doesn't like adults. He hates snobby, stuck-up rich kids." The dean said.

"But we are not snobby or stuck-up." El states.

"I know that, but he doesn't like other kids that are richer than him. Like for example, Alexis, your dad created YouTube, right?" the dean asked.

I nodded.

"So, he won't like you. Elle, your mom is Taylor Swift; Taylor, your mom is Selena Gomez; Meghan, your parents are Chip and Johanna Gains" The dean said.

"And your point is?" Elle asked.

"You all live with rich families. He doesn't like people like that." The dean said.

"So, why would he be picking on Madison?" I asked

"I have no clue. Maybe he is just a bully." El said

"Alexis, you know what class Madison has right now. Please go get her." The dean said.

I walked out of hall 7 and into hall 8. I walked to my Language Arts class, room 8-112. I knocked on the door. Some girl that I didn't recognize opened it.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Can I speak to Mrs. Ann?" I asked.

The girl closed the door and about 30 seconds later, Mrs. Ann opened the door.

"Hey, Lexi. What's up?" Mrs. Ann asked.

"Is Madison in here?" I asked.

"Yes, she is. Do you need her?" Mrs. Ann asked.

"I don't but Mr. Mitchell does." I said.

"Ok. Let me go get her." Mrs. Ann said as she disappeared behind the door and appeared back with Madison behind her.

MADISON POV

"Hey Madison. How are you?" Mrs. Ann asked me.

"Good. How are you?" I asked Mrs. Ann

"I'm good. Thanks for asking." Mrs. Nettles said.

I pulled out my laptop that I was so fortunate to have. I pulled up my homework and left it to show Mrs. Ann.

About 20 minutes into the class, there was a knock on the door. Addison got up and answered the door. She closed the door and turned around.

"Mrs. Ann. There's someone at the door for you." Addison said.

"Thank you, Addison." Mrs. Ann said.

Addison sat down and Mrs. Ann walked over to the door. She said something and then turned back to the class.

"Madi. Can you come here, please?" Mrs. Ann asked.

"Hey, Madison. Mr. Mitchell wants you." Alexis said.

I started to get nervous. I tried to ask what happened but when I opened my mouth, nothing came out.

"C'mon. Nothing bad happened. He just wants your side of what happened at lunch. You don't have to be afraid." Alexis said.

We started to walk down the hallway when I suddenly had the courage to confront her about how the dean found out about lunch.

"Hey Alexis." I started, but she cut me off.

"First of all, call me Lexi. But what's up?" Lexi asked.

"How did the dean find out about lunch and Becket?" I asked, kinda nervous about the fact that I knew Becket.

"Well, he noticed the bruises and I couldn't lie to him because he can read the lies on my face." Lexi responded.

"Okay," I told her.

"Well, Madison we're here." Lexi said.

"Call me Madi," I told her smiling.

"Welcome, Madison. And welcome back Lexi." The dean said.

I told him my side of the story and Becket told his side. Whenever I got nervous being around Becket, Lexi calmed me.
