I walk back in and Nick is sitting next to Marissa on the couch.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

Nick looks up and me and he smiles. "Nothing. Your mom just called and was wondering how you are, after you know-,"

"I'm good." I say.

"That's what I said. So, I see you met Lukas." Nick says.

"Yeah. He is so nice. And kinda cute. I think I have a crush on him." I say.

I hear a cough behind me and I turn around to see Lukas standing there.

"Well, the good thing about that statement Alexis, is that it is true. For both of us. I like you back." He says, giving me a hug.

I giggle.

"Alexia Kate Lovato, will you be my girlfriend?" Lukas asks.

Without even worrying about the fact that he used my full first name, I respond. "Yes."

He gives me another hug and I turn to Rissa.

"Since Lukas and I are now dating, I think it would be a good thing if I were to try to forget about Jack. So, I wrote this song about him. Can I record it?" I ask her.

"As long as it is ok with Phil." Rissa says.

I turn to my manager and I look at him with pleading eyes.

"Sure." He says.

I walk to the door, but Lukas grabs my hand.

"Who's Jack?" He asks.

"My ex. I'll tell you later." I say.

I walk in the room and I sit down, putting the headphones on.
