(Viggo's POV)

I squinted my eyes open, my eyes still not used to the dim lighting of the cave. Once my eyes had adjusted, I opened them to see that the large Whispering Death wasn't in the cave anymore. I turned my head towards the side table to see that a clay pot with three red oleander flowers placed inside sat on the table. I stared at the floor, my mind thought of it as a sick reminder of how I had tricked Hiccup into thinking I had poisoned his Night Fury just so that I could use him for my own gain. I sat up, this time being easier than last time. Once I had moved the blanket aside and swung my feet over the side of the bed, I stood up using the side table for balance. Once I had steadied myself, I made my way over to the desk whereI had seen the dark haired woman writing. There on the desk was a piece of paper with two different sketches. One was the Skrill that I had earned the trust of and the other was of the hunters' insignia. I turned my attention to the sketch of the Skrill, impressed by how detailed the drawing was. I turned away from the drawing and toward the tunnel that led out of the cave, taking notice that my fire sword was leaning in the entrance-way. Grabbing the sword, I made my way down the tunnel. After a few twists and turns, I exited the tunnel and stopped in the entrance of a larger cave. The cave had a medium sized table with eight chairs surrounding it and a bowl of fruit sitting in the center. There was also a stone counter with a fire place at the end of it and, to my surprise, there was a large doorway, carved into the stone wall that led outside, the sun and fresh air entering the cave. As I looked around at the room, I noticed that dark haired woman was standing in front of the Night Fury and the Skrill, two small baskets of fish in front of both of the dragons. As I watched, I noticed the woman's hair was a dark brown that was in a ponytail, a red oleander placed behind her ear and she had tan skin. She was wearing a purple tunic and dark brown pants, and she had no shoes on her feet. A growl from the Night Fury caused me to look at it and see that it had its eyes narrowed and on me. The woman suddenly whirled around, her eyes wide as she stared at me. She seemed nervous, as she watched me, the Night Fury growling behind her. The dragon looked in between myself and the woman before stepping in front of her, eyeing me or more specifically, my sword.

"Are you... a hunter?" the woman asked, speaking up. I looked from my sword to the Skrill and finally ending on the woman. I dropped my sword on the ground, somewhat hoping that by doing this it would prove my words to both the woman and the Night Fury.

"Not anymore."

(Melia's POV)

I looked at the man nervously, but also curiously. His words sunk in as I realized he had said he wasn't a hunter "anymore". That meant he was a hunter at one point, but from what Leiptr had told me, this man had faced about ten hunters to help a friend of dragons escape. I looked from the man to the sword he had dropped on the ground. If anything, him dropping the sword was his way of showing us he was telling the truth, that he wasn't going to hurt us.

"What's your name?" I asked, my nervousness decreasing and my curiosity increasing.

"I'm Viggo Grimborn." he answered, "And you?" I hesitated, not entirely sure if I should tell him. I took a deep breath before finally answering.

"My name's Melia."
