(Melia's POV)

I rubbed my temples as I analyzed the description of the dragon Viggo told me about.

"So let me get this straight. The only part of the dragon you could see was its eyes and they were green." I stated, looking at Viggo who was sitting at the table with Leiptr lying on the ground next to him. It was now morning and Viggo had told me about the dragon he saw last night after getting some sleep.

"Yes. Whatever breed of dragon it was, it blended in with the darkness and its green eyes glowed." Viggo remarked.

"What type of green were the eyes?" I asked.

"I don't know. A dark green. Its eyes were pretty dark minus the fact that they were glowing." I turned towards Lilac who shook her head.

"It wasn't her. Her eyes are bright green, not dark green." Lilac remarked. I sighed in relief, knowing that at least one dragon was crossed off the list. I started going over all the other possibilities of dark colored dragons with green eyes on the island. Suddenly, a Terrible Terror flew in through the open doors, a letter held in its talons.

"Letter for you Melia." the Terror chirped in a feminine voice. I held out my arm for her to land on, taking the letter her talons. The Terror jumped from my arm to my shoulder so I could read the letter. My breath caught in my throat as I put the letter down on the table, placing both hands on its surface to sustain myself.

"What's wrong?" Viggo asked, watching me.

"The Elder knows about you. He wishes to meet you."

"The Elder? Who's that?" I looked up at Viggo.

"You're about to find out." I stated, standing up straight. I looked up at the Terror on my shoulder, "Inform the Elder that we're on our way." The Terror nodded, jumping off my shoulder and flying out the door. I walked up to Lilac who stood up, ready for me to mount her.

"Can you at least tell me where we're going before I decide to come." Viggo ordered, standing from his chair.

"Not that you have much of a choice in the matter, but we're going to a village on the other side of the island." I informed, hopping onto Lilac's back as Leiptr stood up. Viggo looked at the Skrill with confusion, Leiptr answering with a roar that agreed with my words.

"I'm not going with you if that's what you think." Viggo remarked, stubbornly.

"We'll see about that." I remarked, smugly, Lilac flying out of the cave. A few minutes of flying through the air, I turned to see Leiptr following close behind, Viggo on his back. I smirked, knowing that Viggo must have been reluctant to mount Leiptr, but knowing how Skrills can be Leiptr probably used a great amount of "persuasion". I turned forwards, watching the sky as we flew. Hopefully, the Elder would approve of Viggo when we got there.

(??? POV)

I walked around the Village of Lycan, my home, a cart of iron ore in front of me. I was heading to my blacksmith shop, hoping to get a few bit of iron smelted down before lunch. Suddenly, a high pitched screech broke through the silence of the village and I looked up to see Lilac and Melia flying towards the village, a Skrill with a human on its back behind them. I growled inwardly as I watched both dragons land in front of me, keeping an eye on the human that was dismounting the Skrill.

"Fenris, where is the Elder?" Melia asked, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"In his treehouse." I answered, putting down the cart and leaning back on the side of it with my arms crossed. I glared at the human, eyeing him up and down before noticing the dragon hunters' insignia on his belt. "Melia, why is there a hunter, of all humans, on our island?" I growled, keeping my eyes on the hunter. Melia walked up to me, whispering in my ear.
