(Melia's POV)
I tried my best to avoid the hunter the next couple of days. I would either ignore him when we were in the same room, occupy myself by helping dragons on the island, or even just run into the forest to clear my head.
"You can't avoid him forever, Melia." Lilac stated, lying on the grass, watching as I practiced sword fighting on a tree.
"I can try." I remarked, striking the tree.
"What did that hunter even do to make you this mad?" Lilac asked. I paused my attack on the tree and looked at Lilac, digging my blade into the dirt.
"He dared to call me human." I muttered, knowing that Lilac could hear me anyway.
"It was a mistake on his part. He does not know that even though you look like a human, you have the heart, soul, and mind of a dragon." I hummed in understanding before stepping to the side, a Razorwhip spike flying past my head, digging into the tree I had been attacking.
"Nice dodge." a male, blue eyed Razorwhip commented as he landed beside Lilac.
"Thanks, Silver." I remarked, smilling at the Razorwhip. I turned back towards the tree and started attacking it again.
"I felt like I came here to tell you guys something." Silver stated, tapping his chin with his talon.
"Oh, really?" Lilac asked, sitting up.
"Yeah. Oh, there's a Skrill by a cliff, lying in the flowers. It was quite adorable, but, strangely, there was a human man lying with it." Silver remarked. Both dragons turned their attention towards me when I fell forward onto the ground, loosing my balance after missing the tree.
"Wh-What?!" I asked, picking myself up by my elbows to look at the two dragons. Over the past few days, Viggo had stayed in the cave with Leiptr. To hear that he was outside with Leiptr was... astonishing.
"There's a human lying in some flowers by a cliff with a Skrill." Silver said again. Lilac glanced at me and I nodded. I scooped up my sword from off the floor and jumped onto Lilac, wrapping the sword in a large cloth before tying it around Lilac's neck. Lilac and Silver then jumped into the air, Silver leading us to where he had seen Viggo and Leiptr. A few minutes passed before I finally saw the two lying in the grass, but as I got closer I noticed that Leiptr was holding Viggo down with his tail. Instead of giving Lilac time to land, I jumped down, landing gracefully in the grass. Then, I stood tall and walked forward, looking down on Leiptr, who looked pleased with himself, and Viggo, who seemed to be very irritataed even though his eyes were closed.
"What happened to you two?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest. Viggo opened his right eye, looking up at me irritably.
"The Skrill is being stubborn." Viggo growled, glaring at Leiptr.
"My-My name is Leiptr and-and you brought me-me outside in the first place. I'm only-only keeping you here-here because you wanted to-to drag me back to the-the cave when I just-just wanted to lie in-in the sun for the-the first time in a-a while." Leiptr grumbled, sleepily, one of his eyes peeking open slightly.
"He has a name you know." I stated, glaring at Viggo.
"Oh, yeah? Who named him? You?" Viggo asked, accusingly.
"No. The name is his own." I stated, patting Leiptr's head, causing the sleepy dragon to purr slightly.
"Traitorous lizard." Viggo mumbled. I rolled my eyes.
"Alright, Leiptr. Let him up." Leiptr groaned, but obliged, lifting his tail off of Viggo.
"Thanks." Viggo remarked as I helped pull him to his feet. "So you aren't mad anymore?"
