Dear Carrie,
Sometimes, saying things aren't as permanent enough as things that are more physical - like writing on a paper. It doesn't feel real enough as the only thing you have of those words are memories and they can warp over time. By writing it down, I feel like it's more expressive as well as it becomes a part of you - words you never said but words that ebbed out of you, from your body into the ink, eventually onto the paper.
I've been meaning to say this for a long time and I feel the time is right to make it "physical". I love you. I know I said my love for you was like pi but it's much more. The universe is forever expanding and that's how I feel for you. I'm putting it like that because there is no better way to say it. I love you and I hope you remember that.
