A week after Tyler giving the giant teddy bear to Josh, they went to Olive Garden for dinner... on Tyler's would-have-been 2 year anniversary with Skylar.

Tyler had indeed fallen a bit for the younger one.

(I forget if I said younger or older... or if I said anything at all sooo...)

Don't forget I'm picking you up at 5:30

Josh
Okay. Is this ummm a date...?

Tyler
No 😅 this is just a little friend thing. I thought it'd be nice to treat you to dinner!

Josh
Oh, okay

Josh had secretly wanted this to be a date... but maybe it was, and Tyler just wasn't telling him. But they weren't even dating.

They'd barely even been friends with each other for more than a month...

But he does his best to look really nice. I mean c'mon, it's freaking Olive Garden.

Josh picks out a red short sleeved button up shirt along with some black army combat boots, adding dark grey pants and a watch, which he never uses.

Tyler picks out your typical white, long sleeved button up with a navy blue tie. A pair of black slacks with a pair of white converse sneakers. Tyler put two items in his right pocket of his slacks. The two things were for Josh, hoping he'd like them.

How far is Olive Garden from my dorm?

Tyler
About 20 minutes. If we left from my house it would've been 30 😐

Josh
Oh, okay... see you in 30

Saying that both of them were scared was a complete understatement. Both hearts beating extraordinarily fast, both minds thinking of every possible way this dinner tonight could go, both hands finding something to fiddle with... it was total chaos for them.

It was 5:08, Josh decided to walk and pace in his bedroom listening to any music that came on Pandora.

Tyler was talking to himself in his bathroom mirror.

"Why in the world are you scared?!? It's just this guy you've known for three years, but have been friends with for about a month. It's no big deal!!!"

Tyler took a deep breath. His anxiety raging like mad. Trying to calm down, he started to sing.

While Tyler's anxiety was raging, Josh's was pounding, echoing off the walls, it was something in his mind that could not be ignored.

Josh was on the verge of an attack. To calm himself down he went over to his pile of stuffies and hugged them all on the bed. Izza was the foot of the bed. He crawled over to her and held her tightly against his chest, blue fur pressing up against him.

"M'scared Izza... Ty not g'nna like Joshie af'r dinna..." he mumbled into her fur. "I wish I could brin' you wif me, Izza. Joshie weally woves ya."

And with that, he kisses the blue stuffed bear and sets her in the middle of his bed, any anxious feeling swept away.

Josh decides that a small snack before Tyler arrives won't be a big deal. So what does he get from his mini fridge?
