Izel

When me and August got back to the apartment, I was so hungry. We had just got done eating wendy's, but it didn't fill me up.

"Travis texted me and told me he need me fa' a few drops. You'll be aight hea'?" He asked

"Duh, it's not like this the first time you done left me alone."

"Man hush." He grabbed me by my neck and kissed me.

"Don't do that." I giggled. "That turns me on."

"Oh, really?" He got closer to me and started kissing on my neck.

"A-August, doesn't Travis need you?" I moaned a little.

"I think your need for me is mo' important." He licked his lips and smirked.

"Leave boy!" I laughed.

"I might come back, lay dis' pipe down on you." He chuckled

"No, I'm off limits for eight months."

"You barely even pregnant." He shook his head. "Love you, I'll call and check on ya." He gave me one more kiss.

"I love you too, and I'll probably be sleep, so if I don't answer, don't worry."

"Yes ma'am." He spoke before walking out.

I locked the door and went straight to my room. Just as I was about to lay down, someone started to knock on my door.

I looked through the peephole but I didn't know who it was because they were turned around, but then I seen August talking to whoever it was.

I opened up the door and the man turned around.

"Daddy!" I smiled and gave him a hug.

"Hey princess." He chuckled. "My very tall princess." He added.

I giggled at his comment. "I'm gonna go, I was just showin' him which crib was yours." August spoke before giving me another kiss. "Nice seein' ya." He told my dad.

"Likewise son." He smiled

"So, why are you here?" I let him in and closed the door. "Not to be disrespectful or anything, you just said you were never coming back."

"Some business I have to take care of.. I'm also in a middle of a divorce." He sighed.

"You guys just got married." I frowned. "What happened?"

"It wasn't real love." He shook his head. "I guess I tried to rush the relationship after your mother... I don't think I'll find anyone like her."

"You just gotta wait dad." I patted his back. "Who told you where I lived?"

"Uh, your friend, I forget his name." He tried to remember. "Trevor?"

"Travis." I giggled.

"Yea, I seen him at the corner store on south road. So I see you and August are still strong." He smiled. "He's treating you right?"

"Yea, we have our ups and downs but that's how love works. I wouldn't want to go through it with anyone else."

"So y'all are in love? So soon?"

"It's been almost two years since I've known August. I know for a fact that it's love."

"I know he's cheated on you... It can't be love if he-.."

"Dad." I cut him off. "Me and him are good."

"Alright, Alright. I heard your stepdad got locked up about a month ago."
