» Do you wanna, feel beautiful? Do you wanna? Yeah!«

More time passed and as I suspected; Edward came around. He embraced the idea of having his mate. Slowly he made advances towards her and despite his resistance, he was happy. I could see how conflicted he was a majority of the time he was around her. As often as we're able to, Jasper and I try to ease his pain. Though Jasper prefers I try the most to exercise my powers. It's met with more success despite my failures. Some days I could completely block the blood lust he has towards her, other days it seems to amplify them.

I rolled over the bed to face my love. His arms were wrapped tightly around my waist as he held me close. Jasper wasn't asleep, though his eyes were kept shut. It usually meant he was deep in thought. About what, sometimes I'm not too sure. His aura was calm so it wasn't anything for me to worry about. Sometimes he'd delve himself into harsh memories from his past.

"My love." I let my fingers trace down his jawline. His lips curled to a smile at my touch. His grip tightened around me and pulled me a bit closer. "What lingers on your mind?" I get curious from time to time. I don't envy Edward's gift of mind reading. It seems too tiring. To hear all those voices in their heads at all times, I wonder if he's learned to live with it or he's able to drown them out somehow.

"Our wedding." My irises widened in delight. We don't speak to often about it. We were betrothed to each other though the actual wedding was one we rarely spoke of. I personally didn't mind that we weren't officially married yet nor had the reception. After all we had an entire lifetime to have a wedding over and over again. There clearly was no rush.

"What of?" His golden eyes met mine. It was dawn, the sunlight barely peaked into our room.

"How beautiful you'd look in your dress." Jasper gleamed. "Where we would have it. Where we would have our honeymoon."

"Jasper where is all this coming from?" The last time we spoke about any wedding plans was in Croatia. Yeas ago. Like I said, there was no rush. Other things came up either way. He was taken aback by my question. I didn't mean to offend him in any way. "It's just... it's been awhile since we've spoken about it." My fingers played with his locks of hair. He nuzzled his nose against my cheek lovingly.

"It's been on my mind lately. I know I've been driving Edward insane." He chuckled lightly. He began to place soft kisses on me. I closed my eyes and focused on his touch. "Plus we are due for a vacation." His lips were at the base of my neck and his tongue caressed me ever so lightly. I almost shuddered at the touch and felt tingles run through my body. "We haven't exactly had a great amount of alone time." He muttered as low as he possibly could. Privacy was scarce being in a house full of vampires. We tried out best to respect each other's personal space or conversation as often as possible. Jasper growled into my neck before he peeled away. I was too lost on how much I missed his lips against me to realize someone was on their way. Carlisle knocked on the door way before he opened it. By now we were upright on our bed.

"It's going to be sunny for the next two days." Carlisle announced with a smile on his face. His eyes were black, he clearly needed to be fed soon. I nodded as I stared out the window. I had seen the weather forecast for the week, it was supposed to be beautiful.

"Sage! Since it's your first time you get to pick!" Emmett bellowed as he came up behind Carlisle. Alice and Fergie had ran up beside him with cheeky smiles. I didn't realize what that meant. Jasper must've noticed the confusion on my face. He explained to me that every time it got sunny we would take day trips away so we wouldn't expose ourselves to the humans. Our skin. Right. It sparkles.

"That's some pressure for me." I muttered as I crossed my legs over each other. Emmett rolled his eyes.

"Since when did you not want your way?" He quipped. I couldn't help but laugh at the innuendo. I was always given what I wanted with or without my word. Emmett knew me too well then and now. Because of this, I failed to realize the face Rosalie made at the comment.

"It just doesn't feel right to be picky considering I spent a few years away already." I tossed a book at his head that he caught effortlessly.

"It means you know the best places." Edward smirked. He clearly was in my head. A quick flashback of when Jasper and I ran up north and a vision of the secret pool played in my head. I tried to bite back a smile. I did want to share this place with my coven. It was too beautiful to not share with people who matter to me.

"There is this one place..."

It only took several hours in our vampiric speed to get to where I wanted to bring the family. Jasper and I found a wonderful spot near Douglas Island, Alaska.

"Sage this is amazing." Rosalie's eyes glimmered as she entered through the secret beach. The mountains surrounded us. The gray wall of rock reaches at least 65 feet high completely closing off the outside world. What was before us was the tiniest little beach with the blue waves crashing against the sand. There were bright green trees and bushes that rested on the land. Though it was cold beyond the mountain, this place was home to several hot springs located further onto the land. It was purely unmarked when Jasper and I ended up here. Something that defied the odds of the state.

"How did you guys stumble upon this?" Esme's eyes were filled with wonder as she circled in place. I bit my lip to hide the laughter. Everyone had thanked me yet they should've thanked Jasper. If it wasn't for his short temper when he was hungry — and I mean truly starved, we never would've found this place. Jasper shot me a cautious look. I knew he wouldn't have minded if I told our family the truth behind the discovery of the island.

"Let's just say when Jasper gets hungry... he gets hungry." I burst out in fits of laughter when I remembered how desperate he was to eat.

"Now ma'am we both know it was incidental." Jasper attempted to defend himself. Much like the other men, his shirt was peeled off. It showcase the fit body he was frozen in for the longest time. I couldn't help but feel a slight tingle course through my body. I've missed his bare skin against mine.

"Poor Jasper just ingested too much salt water is all." I shrugged my shoulders nonchalantly. I forced myself to turn away. It wasn't like I wanted my most impure thoughts to continue with Edward around. I didn't want to subject him to that.

"Oh goodness, what'd he do?" Alice asked as she took off the circular red shades Ferguson wore to rectangular purple ones. He had on a white sun hat and held the blue sun hat with his spare hand. The other held the ginormous bag Alice had him bring. It was clear that Fergie was her dress up doll.

"It looked like a fish!" I could see his aura change into the color embarrassment. I explained to the family that Jasper had gone delusional. He imagined a fish and followed into this area. When he engaged, he bit into more salt water, but didn't realize until we swam up for the surface. Once we rose, we saw the mountains that engulfed us and the beautiful island we discovered. It was late night so the moon and stars were the only thing to shine upon the beautiful land for us to see. Now we were here enjoying it with our family.
