"Are you excited, nervous?" Kevin says, "both" Betty says turning to me and Kevin "I haven't seen him all summer" she says. "Which is why nerves are acceptable, but we agreed Betty its time " he says.

"Betty its Archie, you know the one we have known our WHOLE life" I say looking at betty as she turns around continuing to put on her makeup. "exactly y/n thank you I have been trying to tell her that!" Kevin says looking at me. We both see Betty rolling her eyes in the mirror. "You like him, he likes you" he says.

"Well then why Kevin hasn't he ever done or said anything" Betty says turning back to us as her ponytail flips through the air. "Because Archie's swell but like most millennial strait guys he needs to be told what he wants," Kevin says. "Trueeeee" I say getting a small chuckle out of Betty as she turns back around trying to find a different brush. "So tell him, finally" He continues to talk. "W-we'll see, I mean it depends" Betty says getting cut of by a surprised Kevin looking out the window "Oh My God," he says, "What?!" She says looking at me and then Kevin.

I shrug as I get up to go see what he was freaking out about. "Oh my god is right!" I say. "Game Changer! Archie got hot!!" he says "He has abs now! Six more reasons to take that ginger bull by the horns tonight" He says "Ew Ew Ewwww" I cringe. "He's like my brother!!" I say.

Kevin looks away chuckling as betty continues to stare at Arch. "Well we all know that there is a brotherly love between you and Archie... Jughead on the other hand" he says as I throw a pillow at him "SHUTUP!!!" I say raising my voice. "OoooOooooooOo La Laaaa" Betty says. "Can we get back to discussing Bettys love life pleaseeee" I say, "Actually I have to get going to pops" Betty says putting her shirt on and pushing us both out the door.

When I get down stairs me and Kevin getting into my old red jeep that I had fixed up after I got it from the dump.

"Where to?" Kevin asks. "Oh jug invited us to come hang out with him at the drive in while the movie is playing because he will be bored in the little projection booth" I say. "Oh My Goddddd" Kevin says "Why do you even try and deny the fact that your in love with him!" he continues. "Kev even if I did possibly like him just a tiny bit, he would NEVER feel the same way" I say, starting to drive and trying to ignore Kevin. "well I think he likes you, I mean have you seen the way he looks at you he says". I blush "really...?" I say, "Yes!" he says.

"you should at least give it a try y/n what's the worst thing that could happen?!" he says. "Um I could loose a life long friend!!" I yell. I turn up the music trying to get him off the subject. We stop talking about Juggie for a while until we get to the drive in. The people by the gate already know who I am and let me in right away.

"Are you kidding y/n?! How did you get free entry??" he asks, "Oh I come here a lot to visit Jughead" I say parking behind Jughead's projection booth and out of sight from all the people enjoying the movie. "y/n you come to visit Jughead SO much that they know you?!!!" he says. "Maybe..." I say in a guilty voice. "you guys belong together!!" Kevin says shaking me.

"hmmm you know maybe we do, Kevin" I say as I begin to get out of the car and walk into the booth.

Me and Kevin walk into the booth and Jughead turns and smiles, "Thank god" he says "It was getting pretty boring sitting here watching this movie that we have been playing ALL week" he continues. "well I'm glad we could make it, we were helping betty get ready to go get her yearly grilled cheese with Archie" I say rolling my eyes a little bit.

"Well why do you care y/n?" Jughead says in almost a defensive way. "Because she doesn't have anyone to go get grilled cheeses with on the last day of summer" Kevin says looking at us with a slight smile. "I'm a introvert who will almost always only talk to my friends and when I'm not with my friends I am sitting in my bed writing things that no one will ever see and reading fanfiction." I say

"Well I will go get a burger with you and Kevin, my shift is ending in like 15 minutes" Jughead says.

"Actually I have to get home pretty soon so you can drop me off at home or I can walk, its not far." Kevin says "Oh Um I guess I could drop you off if you want" I say. "Um Kev can I talk to you outside please" I say as I drag him out the door. "Seriously your gonna leave me with him?You know how nervous I get when me and him are alone!!" I say in a whisper voice to make sure that Jughead doesn't hear.

"Listen y/n you have liked him since middle school, not to mention that you guys are almost the same person!" Kevin says "You need to make your move soon before he finds someone else!" Kev says.

I had never thought about that, Jughead with someone else. It made me really sad. "Okay Okay your right, Ill try to I don't... know... make my move" I say "YAYY" Kevin says. I walk back into the booth and Kevin goes to say hi to someone he knew. "Hey sorry me and Kev just had to discuss something really quick" I say "seems suspicious" Jug says. He smirks and I laugh. We casually talk about dumb stuff for about 10 minutes until Jughead was able to leave.

Kevin still wasn't back yet so I call him,

(Phone call)

"hey Kev where you at"
"ohhhh, yeah so about that, I got a ride from Josie uhh GOOD LUCK"

(End of call)

"Uh! That bitch!" I say. "What?" Jug asks "Oh uh, Kevin left us for Josie." I say. "His loss he could have been hanging out with you" Jughead says. I blush and laugh. "Ya right who would wanna hang out with me" I say chuckling slightly. "well I do.." Jughead says looking at me. "oh right...t-thanks" I say blushing. We get in the car and start driving to pops which was only about 5 minutes away. We talk mindlessly about not wanting to go back to school and stuff until we get there.

When we walk in we go to our usual booth which coincidently is all the way across the diner from Betty and Archie. Pop walks up, "hey kids, are you both getting your usual's?" he says. (my usual: French fries and coffee, Jugs usual: a burger and a coffee) "Oh pops you know us to well" Jug says.

"um we should start heading out" Jug says "yeah sure.." I say. we walk outside after paying for our food, "hey jug before we leave can we talk" I ask as I pull him aside "Listen I cant hide this anymore Juggie" I say "hide what Exactly?" he asks. "I want to be with you Juggie know you probably don't feel the same way and I know I shouldn't have said anything but-" "y/n I want to be with you" he says cutting me off, gazing into my eyes. "Jug" I say. He kisses me cutting me off once more. "shh" he says smiling and kissing me again.
