"Hey Betty" I say as I see her across the hall from me. She was with some raven haired girl with a beautiful dress on. Much to formal to just be going to school. I was nervous to approach them because I was just wearing dark blue skinny jeans and a band tee shirt. "Oh y/n! This is Veronica, shes new here and Veronica this is one of my best friends y/n" betty says "Hi" I say to Veronica. "hey y/n, I like your jeans. They look nice on you." Veronica says

"Thank you! Oh, hey Kev I didnt notice you" I say laughing. "Hey y/n so how did your night go with Jughead. Did you-" "Kevin can we talk about this later please" I say, Kevin sighs and turns to Veronica "So is it true what they say about your dad" Kevin says "That he is the devil incarnate. I stand by my father. Does everyone here know?" She asks.

"ummmkinda?" I say, "Wonderful, 10 minutes in and Im already the blue jasmine of Riverdale high" Veronica says. "and with that Im off to find Jughead" I say, "y/n you were supposed to tell me what happened yesterday night" Kevin says "Wait what happened yesterday night?!" betty says. "I. Will. Tell. You. Guys. Later." I say walking away.

I walk over to Jugheads locker "hey!" I say to him. "Hi beautiful" He says as he leans in to kiss me. I pull away "wait Jughead can we talk" I say pulling him aside where there werent as many people "as long as your not breaking up with me" He says chuckling, "okay so we are totally and completely official?" I ask smiling.

"Well I hope so, I mean...I want to be." He says grinning. "I do to Jug" I say as he leans in kissing me. He pulls away and I sigh. "Can we hold off on telling certain people? I feel like some of our....friends wouldn't know how to react." He says, "Lets cross that bridge when we get there, Okay?" I ask, "Alright." He says kissing me again.

"Thank you for that moment of silence. Many of you were lucky enough to know my brother personally, each and every one of you meant the word to Jason." I hear Cheryl saying as I sat in looking down at my sketch book. I hadnt known Jason very well. He and I were casual. We were friends sorta in 7th grade but the most we ever did was talk in class. So of course I was sad to hear about Jasons death. But it hadnt juristically changed my life.

"I loved my brother he was and always will be my soulmate. So I speak with the confidence only a twin could have." Cheryl says as I look up from my sketch book to direct my attention towards Cheryl. "Jason wouldnt want us to spend the year mourning. Jason would want us to move on with our lives. Which is why I have asked the school board not to cancel thee back to school semi- formal. But rather use it as a way to heal, collectively." Cheryl says.

I lookover at Jughead who was sitting next to me. He had stopped typing on his computer to focus his attention on Cheryl. "And celebrate my brothers to, to short life on this world. Thank you all." Cheryl finishes as people cheer. I look over at Jughead "You know betty is gonna make me go to the semi- formal." I say. "I figured she would." He says "and you know Im making you go through the torture with me right" I say. "I figured you would" he says looking down with a sigh.

I laugh "Cmon Juggie are you gonna go with me?" I say grabbing his arm and flashing him my puppy dog eyes. "Fine" He says as we start to get up to exit the stands.

I sit at my usual lunch table listening to Archies new song. "Can I join?" I look up to see Veronica standing beside the table. "Yeah" Betty says. "What are we doing?" she says as she sits down. "Listening to one of Archies songs" Betty says, "I thought we were gonna have to pretend to like it but its actually really good" Kevin says. "Wait that was you singing, something you wrote." Veronica says "Its rough" Archie says, I roll my eyes. "Archie seriously that sounds good." I say.
