Orbit

18 1 0

He ran away
unlike an orbit
he refused
To circle back

I let him
I suppose
He ran freely
Into the wild

And sadly
His sweet laugh
Would only last
A moment

Currently
He stretches
Further away
Into the bliss

Without me
He let go
To propel
Further

And I knew
It was over,
Disappearing
Swiftly

But maybe
He let go
For the best
Of us

Did you run into the stars so that I wouldn't find you?
