The sun begins to drape into the earth
Unknowing of its place
Ever present in an endless cycle

As it makes way for the darkness
In its overtaking demeanor
Almost constant without the piercing lunar rays
Ever glowing
Ever unknowing
Of its place in an endless cycle

Besides the moon
the small rays of light gleam
Unknowing of its state
Forever in the past
Even as it reaches far enough
For the sight of earth inhabitants
