Calum's POV

I huffed out a deep sigh and rolled my eyes before slowly dragging them up from my comic to see who was interrupting me over a damn seat.

"It's a seat." I said blankly staring at the tall brunette girl.

She was bigger than most girls at the school, but not fat, had thick framed glasses perched on her nose, and a book clutched to her chest. She stared back at me with no emotion and cleched her jaw.

"It's mine, though. I come in here everyday and read in that exact seat. I have never seen you in here during lunch before so who do you think you are to come in and sit in my seat?"

"Okay, listen here." I said closing my comic and tapping my finger against the cover.

"I'm listening." She grit her teeth.

"This is possibly the only Batman graphic novel I haven't read yet and I have been disturbed too many times trying to read it to give a damn about your little seat issue. Now if you will excuse me there is only ten minutes left of lunch and I'm pretty sure Alfred is about to kick some ass." I said slamming the book down and reopening it.

"But that's my seat."

"Are you fucking kidding me right now? Go sit somewhere else!" I said rather harshly casuing her to frown at me.

"You sit somewhere else, why should I have to changed my routine just because you're having a shitty day?"

"You're unbelievable." I groaned.

"No, I'm Amber." She smiled sticking her right hand out.

"Calum." I sighed, shaking her hand.

"Well Calum, are you gonna move?" She cocked her head to the side and blinked her green eyes.

"Actually, I should probably be getting to class." I sighed again looking down.

She smiled in triumph and slammed her book down on the table. She leaned against it with her palms pressed flat against the wood as she waited for me to gather my things and leave. I squinted my eyes at her as she gave me a sweet smile while I headed towards the door.

"Bye Calum!"

"Bitch." I grumbled as I walked out the door and down the hall.
