The next four months were agonizing for Aurey. She had to live with waking up every morning and feel the weight of her grief, both physically and mentally. When her body was finally ready to expel the bodies within her, she was relieved but terribly aggrieved.

...

Aurey could barely look at the bodies. They were so small but developed. Tears trickled down her face and it broke Vechs heart every time to see her like this. He couldn't even look at the babies. They had made coffins a week ago and were going to have a funeral for the babies. These were the first permanent human deaths in MineCraft ever.

They waited a week for the funeral. No words were spoken as the coffins were lowered into the ground. Notch himself had come to the funeral. There had been tests done and the conclusion was that the cause of the miscarriage was the regeneration of the world. It had had a negative effect on the babies and when they left MineCraft, it would have triggered instant death. Aurey sobbed even more at this information. She blamed herself for going to earth. Vechs tried to console her by telling her that the risk they would have both mental and physical difficulties if they had been born that would have made it harder to live here. This just made Aurey cry more.

...

Over the following months, Aurey fell into a depression. She didn't want to get out of bed, didn't want to eat or drink, didn't want to live. Everyday Vechs would feed her applesauce and milk or water, trying to keep her strength up but the loss of not one but two babies was weighing hard on the woman's heart. Everyone tried to console her, tried to break her out of her depression, it didn't work. Bdubs had even prolonged his wife and child's coming as to not further depress the once free-spirited Aurey. Nobody knew what to do. Aurey lay curled in the fetal position everyday, eyes fixed on the wall, seeing something no one else could. Aurey's depression was such a pressing issue that a meeting was held to try and find a solution.

"Vechs, why don't you just knock her up again?" Etho suggested.

Vechs glared at him.

"What?! It's a legit idea! The world isn't regenning anytime soon so the baby won't die this time. Then Aurey has her baby and is happy again. The end."

"That is a terrible idea Etho. Aurey is emotionally distraught and having her become pregnant again is like saying "Sorry your babies died. Here have another one." "Generik argued.

"Would you two give it a rest for once. This is about Aurey not your petty squabbles." Paul told them.

"I was just pointing out an obvious flaw in Etho's plan, that's all. Geez!" Generik pouted.

"I have a question." Pause piped up. "If Aurey is emotionally distraught and depressed and not to mention not feeling a need to live, why isn't someone with her?"

Vechs leapt out of his chair so fast it fell over. He ran out of the room as fast as he could.

...

Vechs found Aurey sleeping in their bed. He would have been relived if he didn't see the noose in the corner. She must have been killing herself repeatedly and had eventually fallen asleep from the exhaustion of respawning so many times. Vechs picked up Aurey and climbed back out of the tunnels.

...

Everyone looked up when Vechs entered the room, carrying an unconscious Aurey.

"She has been hanging herself the whole time we were here." Vechs told them grimly.

"We have to do something!" Generik exclaimed.

"Well what used to put life into Aurey?" Blame asked.

"Anything cute. Nature, especially flowers. Baking. Helping others. I've heard her singing while she was bathing a few times." Vechs listed.

"Tomorrow, Bdubs, you should take her for a walk. I'll ask her to help me find and tame some rabbits. Helping and something cute." Blame told them.

"I can ask her to bake for us." Generik put in.

"I'll handle the singing." Vechs said gruffly.

"Then it's settled." Guude said standing with his hands on the table. "Meeting adjourned."

I need to clarify a few things. In this story, Etho is portrayed as, well, an asshole. While that may not be how he is in real life, that is his role in this story. I'm sorry if that bothers you. Also, this story is sadly, coming to its end soon. When I complete this story, I will most likely write another Vechs and Aurey Fanfiction so please don't be to sad. Another thing is that the depressing note of the last two chapters is going to be vanquished next chapter so don't worry. That is all.
