Chapter 5

Vechs sighed. Sometimes life here was boring. He was lying on his bed bored. No chores. Not in a pranking mood. Oh and Aurey was busy working on her mansion. Or the Mindcrack mansion. Whatever. No pretty Princess Aurey today. He dragged a hand through his already messy back hair. He had done his chores and done his rounds in town and then flopped onto his bed in his boxers. Then a bat flew into his room carrying a note. Vechs grabbed the more and stroked the bat. The note read; Vechs, I an wondering about your new bow shop. -AnderZel

Vechs sighed and got dressed.

Meanwhile, Aurey was waiting for Vechs to leave. When she heard his disgruntled muttering pass by, she hopped to it. She quietly climbed down into his base. She had some pink carpeting. Utilizing her sword, she pried up his carpet easily and replaced it with her pink ones. She jogged through his base, replacing carpeting every so often. She giggled as she pranced him. It was so much fun!

Vechs was half way to the town when he realized that AnderZel didn't have bats and that curly handwriting belonged to Aurey. The he recalled her posting a notice that she was going to prank him. He started running back to his base.

Aurey heard Vechs coming. She squeaked and ran for the horse staircase. She probably shouldn't have posted that notice about pranking him but she couldn't help herself. She dashed through the base. She knew she had a head start on Vechs so hopefully he wouldn't catch her. Though he did have much longer legs. Aurey say the staircase and almost made it when Vechs appeared in a shower of purple particles.

"Hah got you!" He cried as Aurey narrowly missed crashing into him.

"Gah!" She exclaimed.

She stopped less than an inch from his chest. She slowly raised her eyes to his face. He was such a giant, over a foot taller than her.

"What do you have to say for yourself?" Vechs asked her sternly, watching carefully so she couldn't run.

"Nothing." Aurey said with an innocent smile.

Then she reached up on her tippy toes and kissed Vechs on the cheek. Then she ran. She tore up the staircase and out into the open. Immediately, she started running back to the town as fast as she could.

I apologize for the relatively short length of this chapter. Hopefully the next will be longer.
