Chater 2

Vechs yawned as he crawled out of bed. He strolled through his base in his boxers. He walked all the way to his garden, where he stripped, laid down his towel and clothes before jumping into the waterfall that ended in a deep pool. Next to the pool was a bowl of carrot paste, a bowl of water and a thin sheet if woolen cloth. He spread the paste on his face and dipped the cloth in the water and washed it off. His face and body effectively clean, Vechs clambered out if the pool and dried himself off before dressing. He secured his goggles before heading out of the garden. He went back to his main area and grabbed some cold stew for breakfast. While consuming his stew, he wandered over to his to-do list. There was something he hadn't put up on his wall of things to do. The sign read; Vechs, you have been requested to donate some snow to Miss Aureylian if you have any to spare. She needs some for her base. If you have any to spare, please contact Miss Aureylian about this matter.

Vechs smiled. He had a room with a snow golem, hence forth, he had infinite amounts if snow. He grabbed a fresh ink sack and his good feather and some paper. He scribbled down his message. Then he made a squeaking noise. A furry brown bat flew into the room and landed on his shoulder.

"Can you take this to Aureylian little guy?" He cooed.

The bat grabbed the rolled up note with is paws and flew off. Vechs resisted the urge to say awww. He loved bats soooo much. They were so cute. Then he sighed. It would take Aurey an hour to get to his base at least. He set off to harvest and replant crops, tend to live stock and maybe put something together for Aurey.

Vechs left his base to wait for Aurey. He saw her coming around Paul's base. He smiled. She looked so cute, her red cape swinging, white dress swaying in the slight breeze. When Aurey's eyes landed on Vechs, her face lit up and she started running. Right before she got to him, she tripped. Vechs lunged forward and caught her. Her face was tinged with red.

"Oops, clumsy me!" She said with a giggle.

She got up and brushed herself off.

"You okay little guy?" She asked

Vechs' bat popped its head out if her now-messy hair and squeaked happily. Aurey put a hand out and he hopped on. She gently scratched his head.

"Aren't you the cutest thing!" She cooed

"Here you go Vetchy!" She said and lightly put the bat on Vechs' shoulder.

"Thanks." He replied with a genuine smile.

"So you need some snow?"

"Thanks so, so, soo much!" Aurey said, as she waved goodbye, her backpack full of snow and a surprise that Vechs had hid inside it.

"No problem." Vechs called as Aurey disappeared over the ridge.

He liked Aurey. She was strong and independent. A she was the only girl on Mindcrack island and surrounding area. She was doing well.

Vechs watched the sun set before disappearing back into his base. He put his armor away, and stripped down to his boxers. He put his clothes in a stone slab shelf and flopped into his big bed. He pulled the think woolen blankets over himself and fell fast asleep.
