Vechs was the first to wake the next morning. The scene before him was exhaustingly cute. Aurey was curled in a ball, still clutching his right arm with both of hers. Despite it have been almost a month since Vechs gave Aurey the tour of Mindcrack's town, Vechs still couldn't get over the petite woman's adorableness. She was just so cute! Vechs lay awake, watching Aurey sleep. Not in a creepy way, in a devoted way that a lover would. Not that Vechs had registered any feeling other than friendship for Aurey. Well, not yet at least. Suddenly, Aurey stirred. Vechs averted his eyes. Aurey stretched and yawned.

"Morning Sleepyhead." Vechs greeted teasingly.

"Morning Vechy." Aurey yawned her greeting.

"What do you want for breakfast?" Vechs asked.

Aurey's eyes zeroed in on the cake from lady night.

Vechs full out laughed.

"No way Aurey, you will be so hyped in sugar that you will literally bounce off the walls."

Aurey pouted.

"After applesauce, carrots and stew?" Aurey pleaded.

"You sure eat a lot." Vechs commented playfully.

"Yeah, I visit the market and hunt for food most of the time, that's why it's take so long to build my castle, that and the lack of stone." Aurey said, sounding down.

"Hey, I have a farm you know, in my base. Come grab some stuff if you need to. All you got to do is promise you'll replant what you take and breed the animals."

Aurey perked up and nodded enthusiastically.

"Pinky swear?" Vechs asked seriously.

"Pinky swear." Aurey replied firmly.

They locked pinkies and Aurey went to get the food. Vechs watched her go. Her loved the way her hips swished, they were so slender and it was pretty hard to pick up on the movement. He loved the pitter patter of her delicate feet on the stone. He loved everything about her, but he didn't realize it. He only saw his beautiful friend, that's all. He registered non of the brewing mix of romantic feelings slowly festering within him. Aurey soon returned with four small bowls. She gave two to Vechs. He saw one contained a small portion of soup. He recognized chicken-noodle soup with small chunks of carrot and potato. The apple sauce looked good, Vechs didn't see any chunks which meant it was made well.

"Did you just add the carrots?" Vechs questioned.

Aurey blushed.

"Yeah, I heated it over the fire a little to. It is good?"

"Yeah, I can't find anything wrong with it."

Aurey sighed with relief.

"That's good because I need to give Generik sixty-four cookies and sixty-four pumpkin pies to pay for the mansion he sold me. I hope my baking is good to."

"Hey, I will willingly be your taste tester." Vechs offered.

"Thanks Vechy, it means a lot that you are willing to offer that." Aurey replied with a blinding smile.

"So, got any plans today?" Vechs asked.

"Yeah, I'm probably going to work on the mansion. I'm going to transform the rooms into something special for as many of our fellow Mindcrackers as I can."

"Sounds like fun. I'm going to start work on my bow shop." Vechs replied.

"Oo that sounds cool!"

"Meh, it's going to mostly be a lot of building."

"Well, if you get bored, you know where I'll be." Aurey said with a wink.

"Well I'm done. I'm to full for cake so I guess I'll head out. I guess I'll see you later?"

"Yeah." Vechs said quietly.

"Bye!" Aurey called as she left her castle.

Vechs got out of her bed. He shook himself off and headed out the door to. He had a long day ahead of him, one that included finding mcgamer to hunt a location for his now shop
