Vechs and Aurey didn't speak about that moment in the dungeon when they saw each other again. They acted like it had never happened. But they were thinking about it. Vechs kept remembering the feeling of her sweet, hot breathe on his lips and how close they had been. She smelled like frosting and baked goods. Now, every time Vechs saw Aurey, he struggled to not think perverted thoughts. It was hard.

*Aurey was working on the mansion and it was late. She was trying to finish the dining room. While doing so, she realized she needed some oak wood. Vechs, w,ho had been near the mansion heard her yelling about the lack of oak would, decided he would go get it for her. Before he fetched it, he took out the magic book and the quil (which bnever ran out of ink) that they all had to communicate with each other and wrote: Need anything else, you know, besides oak wood?
Aurey felt her book grow hot with an incoming message, so she grabbed and it grew from a small heart shaped pin into the book. She read Vechs' message and replied with: A million dollars and a burrito.
Vechs chuckled at this and took the mansion's Nether Portal to get back to his base.

A few mishaps later, Aurey had her oak wood and ninety-nine diamonds and a stripper pole, curtesy of Vechs who did a show for her. In his clothes. Just saying. Aurey sighed contentedly when she finished the dining room. It had taken awhile but it was so satisfying to see it be all nice and finished**. Vechs was in his dungeon messing around. Aurey had sworn never to go back into that dungeon after what happened in there, she didn't want to end up feeling wistful. She turned to leave when she heard Vechs call her name. She sighed and slowly walked over to his dungeon. She peered down into its depths. She saw Vechs sitting on his couch.
"Y-Yes Vechs, need something." She asked quietly.
"We need to talk." He replied, frowning at her hesitation.
Aurey hopped down the stairs. She wanted to walk down them slowly, but she would probably trip. She stopped in front of Vechs. He frowned at her still.
"Come sit down." He ordered, patting the leather seat next to him. Aurey dragged her feet as she walked over. And, as she had tried to prevent on the stairs, she tripped. She twisted backwards as she fell and landed on Vechs lap. Her face turned as scarlet as her hair and she struggled to get up. She was having difficulty because Vechs had his hands around her waist and was holding her there.
"Vechs... let... me... get... up." Aurey panted between breaths. When Aurey had fallen, she ended up on her crush's lap, winded.
Vechs sluggishly retracted his arms and Aurey raised herself from his lap. Then she seated herself half a foot away from him. They say in silence for a moment before Vechs started speaking.
"Aurey, about the last time we were in here, what are we going to do about it?"
"I vote nothing." Aurey squeaked, trying to negate this moment.
Vechs' frown deepened.
"Aurey, if we just keep pretending it never happened, I'll go crazy. You'll go crazy because I know you've been thinking about it to."
Aurey swallowed, hard.
"Vechs... I just don't know what to do. I... I just kind of... love you." Aurey whispered the last part.
Vechs' eyes widened.
"What did you just say?" Vechs whispered in awe.
"I love you." Aurey whispered again, tears pooling in her eyes. "I love you so much it hurts."
Vechs cupped her chin and tilted it upwards.
"I love you to." He murmured. "I've loved you from the beginning."
"And I you." Aurey replied in her softest tone.
Slowly, they came together and-
"AUREY!" Someone called.
Aurey and Vechs jumped. Aurey shook herself off and went to see who it was.

*Aurey working on the mansion actually happened during a live stream I watched yesterday. It's not going on YouTube so you probably will not be able to view it. During said live stream, Vechs built a stripper pole in the dining room, removed his armor and shift-danced around while Aurey threw his diamonds back at him. When he left the mansion, he left some diamond blocks with a pumpkin head atop atop then and a sign stating that Vechs had earned diamonds there. Just to clarify that was not something I made up.
