Pov- zero
When I got home no one was there. Oakley invited me to go over to her house cause she's having a cookout there. I wish I could by I don't wanna get hurt.
I go to my room and set my bag down. I walk back out and close the door.
I start humming the song called DNA by BTS. It's a good song.
I went into the kitchen and started cleaning. Yeap I have to clean everyday. Sucks.
I wipe the table and counters and when I'm done with that I wash the dishes.
While I was washing the dishes the front door opened and Jessy and patty came in. They look horrible.
Still humming the song I. I'm at the part where suga is sitting in a chair while the room catches on fire. Yeah even though Im not watching the video I know which part I'm on.
"Were having people coming over. You can't stay in your room so leave" patty says as she gets Alcohol out of the fridge.
Where am I supposed to go?
"Leave now" Jessy says as he sits on the couch
I put the last dish away and cross my arms over my chest.
"Get yourself a blanket and your things, leave cause who would want to see a kid here who's mute and stupid"
I'm not mute I just choose not to talk.
But the stupid part.... I'm not that stupid I'm pretty smart....kinda
I get my stuff from my room like my iPod, sweater, fake glasses cause why not, earbuds and backpack.
I put on my fake glasses and sweater on with my hood up I go downstairs and out the front door and start walking to were the wind takes me.

Pov- Oakley
I was helping my mom clean. My aunt's and uncle's are coming over so that means my friends are to.
Yeah my friends are basically my cousins but I call them my friends cause why not.
"Mom guess what" I says as I put the broom back
"Yeah?" She says turning to me
"I made a new frie-"
"Boy or girl, better be girl" my dad says walking into the kitchen
"Dad let me finish"
He rolls his eyes playfully and nods for me to go on
"His name is zero"
"Really now" mom says wiggling her eyebrows
"Mommmmm"
"Okay okay sorry keep going"
"So who's this zero kid and what's he like" dad says sitting down and crossing his arms
"He doesn't talk like I don't know if he's mute or just chooses not to talk and he's skinny but not anorexic skinny"
"Mmhmm" mom says with a frown
"What else?" Dad says
"At lunch he got food poured on him by Tobias so me and the group took him to to the bathroom to clean his hair and face, we gave him new pair of clothes to"
"Poor kid" mom says shaking her head
"We left the bathroom so he can have his privacy. Me and the group talked and Jacy said to get along with him"
"Yeah, I know how hard it is to fit in" mom says
"Well here's the thing mom, Ethan said How can we get along with him if he doesn't even talk, he's either retarded or mute or even both"
"That kid needs some manner's" dad says shaking his head
"Zero was behind us when he said that, he started crying but I only noticed. He walked down the hallway-"
I beath in before I continued
"I ran to him and turned him around, he looked so hurt so I hugged him, he- he hesitated and was tense at first but then he wrapped his arms around me"
"He hugged me like he never been hugged before. He started sobbing when I told him I wouldn't leave him, mom I said I wouldn't leave him"
I say as my voice started to crack
"I invited him over for the cookout but he looked scared like if he came someone would hurt him, he looked terrified"
Mom looked at dad with her eyes wide.
"What if- if-"mom says, trying to get words out of her mouth
"Katie it's okay, Oakley is you see anything else wrong with him or anything tell us" dad says getting up and hugging mom
"Okay"
The doorbell rings. Mom goes to the Living room and dad goes outside and starts the grill
Pov- Zero
It's been about two hours since I started walking. The sun was still high in the sky. It was really hot.
Probably cause your wearing a sweater
Shut it mind
I kept walking but stopped when I smelt food. It smelt so good.
I look towards the house. People were outside. Not just regular people.
It was Oakley and her group
