CHAPTER 22

Pov-zero

Fourth period, why can't this period go by faster? Its not because it's English, well that's one reason but the other reason is because Oakley and her group is in this class.

Well there all in my first through fourth class, I've been avoiding them, which is good. I think.

When the teacher starts babbling on about this one dude that done this one thing to the other thing and.....yeah I'll stop now, I zone out. I really hate this class.

"Zero"

I look up and see Ms, krin standing in front of my desk. How long have I been zoned out?

I need a break.

I straighten up in my seat, She raises her eye brow and then lets out an sigh.

"Listen okay, I don't want you to get detention" she says. She gives me a paper and walks away.

I feel a tap on my shoulder and a whisper. I don't pay attention to it, I just do my work, why do I even bother doing it? I get horrible grades in this class.

"Sptsssss zerooooooooooo" I turn around and see Jace and Nathan with rubber bands aiming at me.

Seriously!!!

I roll my eyes and turn back around. I know it's not there fault that I beat up tobias but I have to ignore them. What if they find out? They'll hate me.

I start doing my work. Writing things that I found from the passage. Not answering the question on the paper correctly. I didn't feel like reading.

I hear the chair beside me scoot out. I look in the corner of my eye to see Noah sitting beside me, with a smile.

How do they smile so easy?

"Hey zero, can you quit ignoring us?" He ask, he scoots closer, is he trying to sufficate me?

"Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I won't stop unless you stop ignoring ussssssssss, pleaseeeeeeeeeeee- mhph" I covered his mouth with my hand and sighed. This kid is annoying, even though he's older than me he acts like he's three.

"Mhph mhmmphh" I raise my eyebrow at him. He motions toward my hand and I take it off.

"Zero what's going on?" He ask, I look at him and then shook my head.

"Zero?" He says. The bell rings so I get up quickly trying to avoid the group.

I speed walk out of the room and then start running down the hallway, dodging people.

Almost to my class. Just a little furt-

I fall to the ground with a thud. Something heavy is on top of me. Ow.

"Zero will you stop avoiding us!" Sounds like Avery. Sign and then rubbed my hands in my hair.

"Zero?" I look up and see oakley and her group all standing in front of me. Avery gets off of me and helps me stand up.

Oakley comes towards me and puts her hand in my hair and smiles. Why do they always smile?

"C'mon zero, you can't avoid us forever okay" she says, she takes her hand out of my hand and outs it on my shoulder.

I nod my head and crossed my arms. I look at her and sign. If only I had the guts to talk I would tell her everything.

"Okay, let's get through today and you will be coming to my house, your gonna spend time with me and the group okay zero" she says, she takes a step back and raises an eyebrow. I nod my head and started walking with Ethan and ameila.

Maybe it's not gonna be so bad.

Maybe they won't get mad.

*Time skip >8)*

When we got to oakleys house we all sat on the bed. I don't know why they invited me.

"So zero, why have you been avoiding us?" Oakley ask. She hands me a book and a pen. Does she really expect me to tell her?

I look at the notebook and picked up the pen. I opened it and stared at the paper.

I looked back up at Oakley and her group and shrugged my shoulders. Oakley game a look. That look you get when you done something wrong. I didn't do anything wrong..... Well except ya know....beat up... Tobias.

"We all know what you did. Where not mad. Tell us if it's true" Avery says as he gets up and crosses his arms.

Do they know? If they do how? Who told them! Are they mad at me? Do they hate me? They hate me! Oh god.... They really do hate me!

"Zero?" I look up and see everyone looking at me.....with concerned looks?

"We know you hit tobias...... repeatedly" oakley says. She looks at me with a Stern look.

She hates me...

"Zero where not mad at you, we just want to know why you beat up Tobias? What did he do to you? Did he hurt you!" Carla gasp as she starts checking my face for any bruises.

I shook my head but Carla wouldn't stop checking me. At least they don't seem mad.

"What happened?" Miles ask, giving me a confused look. I huffed and then started to write in the note book.

When I got done I showed it to them. I told them what happened. They needed to know.

"He did that?" Jacy ask. She get up and comes to where I am. She sits my me and rubs my head.

"I'm so sorry that happened to you zero. You messed him up though bro, you knocked his guts out like I couldn't even do that, dang" Jace says. He started talking to Ethan and nathan about the way tobias looked and started punching the air.

At least there not mad.
