CHAPTER 1

        

Pov- zero

Sorry for not introducing myself earlier. My name is zero. Im fifteen and have swoopy brown hair, bangs covering one eye. I'm five ft four.

I don't talk much. Well only in my head. I was put up for adoption when I was four. My parents didn't care about me.

I don't like eating cause people say I'm fat. I don't have glasses cause my vision is 20/20 and I don't have braces cause I don't need them. I have good hygiene. I'm smart.......kinda.

My favorite animal is an puppy. I love puppies there so cute and cuddly and fluffy I just can't help but hug them.

Not very manliy I know but it's puppies what do you expect.

My favorite bands are sleeping with sirens, I prevail, fall out boy and Pierce the veil.

And BTS but no one has to know that.

Back to reality

Once I'm done packing my bag I walk down the stairs and into the main hall where Ms, Witch is. Yeah I can't remember her name so I call her that. Well I don't really call her that. I call her that in my head.

I see the couple who will be adopting me. Creepy couple.

"Zero got all your stuff packed?" Ms, witch ask

I nod my head and look at the creepy couple.

"This is Patty and Jessy" Ms, witch says as she points at them

I nod my head again and cross my arms. I do that because I feel more comfortable and protect.

"Let's go" Jessy says as he walks over to me and pulls my arm

I hate people touching me. I like my personal space.

I don't do anything and let him drag me outside.

Wonder if they have a puppy?

"Get in" Patty says as she gets in the passenger seat

I get in the vehicle and Jessy gets in the front seat.

The car is old but not rusty. It's really dirty on the inside tho. Not much space.

Jessy starts the car and pulls out of the parking lot. I look out of the window and slightly wave at Ms, witch.

I see her nod and smile and walk into the orphanage.

I look out the window and see houses, trees, vehicles go by.

I see kids playing outside. Must be fun living a good life.

We pass a house. It was a medium size house it was like the prettiest house on the block. The house had a little fence around it and a little dog house in the back.

They had a puppy

I want a puppy

Wonder what it's like to have one. There so little and cute, fluffy and adorable I just wanna smother it with hugs.

My thoughts has been ended by the car coming to an stop. They parked in front of an house that was dark brown.

The house wasn't dirty though. It was actually pretty clean. Maybe the inside of it is clean as well?

"Get out" Jessy says rather to harshly

I quickly hop out grabbing my bag. Jessy and Patty gets out and Jessy locked his car and heads to the house.

I walk behind them. Jessy opens the door and all I smelt was smoke. Gross.

They walk in. This smoke smell seemed normal to them.

I walk in and close the door. I turn around and look. The house was slightly clean. It had trash on the table and the carpet looked like it hasn't been vacuumed for days. And smoke stains on the wall.

I look in the kitchen. I didn't walk to it I just looked cause you can see it from the living room.

It had alot of dirty dishes and smoke stains on the wall just like the living room. The table had alot of trash and they had super dirty counters.

"Come with me" Jessy says as he harshly Yanks my arm.

I yelp a little but I bit my bottom lip so I wouldn't screaming.

He brings me to a door and opens it. He gave me a Stern look and pointed at me.

"You stay in here at all times got that you only come down when we yell for you. If you don't obey the rules your gonna get hurt kid"

I look at him not being able to talk. Well I never talk.

I look at him and then the room. Quickly nodding my head. He shoves me into the room and slams the door.

I fall to the ground hitting my head on the floor not hard but enough for it to hurt.

I get up and look around. The bed is a twin size. There's a desk in the corner of the room by the window and a closet on the opposite side.

I see another door. I walk to it and open it. It's a bathroom. It's looks crowded.

I close the door and head to my bag and start unpacking. I unpack my clothes which is all long sleeve and skinny jeans, some ripped and some just skinny.

I put them in the closet neatly and go back to my backpack.

I pull out my iPod and earbuds and put them on the desk. I get out a picture of me and Ms, witch. Yeah even though I call her that she's nice. She just looks like a witch.

Wonder what she was like when she was younger.

I put the picture on my desk. I go back to my bag and unpack the rest of my things like toothbrush, toothpaste, my special soap and my comb.

When I'm done i look around some more. The room has dark blue walls, There's some smoke stains to but not as bad as the living room and kitchen.

I go to my bed and lay down. The blanket is kinda itchy and the bed is a little hard.

I get under the blanket. It's seven o'clock so that's when I go to bed cause Ms, witch make us go to bed early.

I feel my eyelids get heavy so I shut them and letting sleep take over.

The one thing on my mind was

They don't have a puppy
