CHAPTER 7

Pov- Oakley

Me and the group were talking outside

"Hey guys who's that" our Uncle Leo ask as he points at a person on the side walk

"I don't know? Why does he have a hood on? It's like eightie degrees be out here?" Amelia says

I go to the side walk with my group and start to walk over to him

"Excuse me?" I say walking closer

He looked up and stepped back a little.

"Zero?" I ask

He looked down and crossed his arms around his chest. I noticed he tends to do that alot

"Are you okay" Jace ask

He didn't nod or anything so I took ahold of his hand. He looked startled.

"Are you okay zero?" I ask again

He looked me in the eyes, after a few seconds he slightly nods his head.

"What are you doing out here then" Ethan ask as he puts his hand on my shoulder

Zero shrugged and looked back down.

"Do you want to come in the house?" Ethan ask

He shrugged again. Shaking slightly.

maybe I should take him to mom

Pov-Zero

"Do you wanna come in?" Ethan ask

I shrugged and put my head down keeping them from seeing my puffy eyes

"Zero are you okay?"Oakley ask

I slightly shrug and lighty tug my hand out of Oakley's and cross my arms.

"Zero?" Oakley said as she walked closer to me

I feel tears go down my face so I pull my hood down lower.

"It's okay zero" Oakley said as she wrapped her arms around me

I tense again but wrapped my arms around her. Putting my head on her shoulder

"Zero it's gonna be okay, I'm here don't worry" she whispers

I nod my head but not letting her go

Pov- Kat

I step outside with Zoey and Sam since everyone else is out there. They where all looking at the side walk where the kids are

"What's going on?" Sam ask

"This kid was walking down the side walk but stopped when he saw them I guess" Zack says sitting on a chair

"Who is it though cause I never seen him before" Kelly says while leaning on the wall

"Must be zero" I say

I see Oakley walk closer to zero and wrap her arms around him.

"She's hugging him?" Taylor says

We watch them. Zero looked tense at first but wrapped his arms around her and layed his head on her shoulder.

"Kat?" I hear someone say

It was like everything went black. Something flash. All I saw was a little girl hugging a little boy.

Who was that?

Everything went back to normal when I felt myself being shaked

"Katie are you okay?" Leo ask as he stopped shaking me

I blink repeatedly and then nodded my head

"Yeah yeah I'm uh I'm fine" I say as I walk back into the house

"What was that" I whisper to myself as I started to lay out the food

Pov- zero

I unwrapped my arms around Oakley and took at step back.

"Are you okay?" She ask

I nod my head and wrapped my arms around my chest

"Well your coming inside the house" she says

She grabbed my hand and started to drag me off the side walk

"Hello guys this is zero. Zero meet my family. Family introduce yourselfs"

"I'm Zack"
"I'm leo"
"I'm luke"
"Im Zoey"
"I'm Kelly"
"I'm Brandon"
"I'm Jake"
"I'm Taylor"
"I'm Sam"

They say. I wave slightly and Oakley dragged my into the house with her friends following behind.

"this is my mom" Oakley says

She walked over to her mom and pulled her over

"Mom this is zero"

"Hey zero, my name is Kat" she says as she holds her hand out

I look at Oakley and she nods. I shake Kat's hand and then Oakley grabbed my hand bringing me to the back yard where music was playing.

"OMG I LOVE THIS SONG" I hear Amelia scream

BTS fake love was playing. Amelia was dragging jace, jacy, Ethan and noah to the wooden floor built into the ground.

"C'mon since we know all the dances let's dance" she says

When the song got to the next verse they started dancing. They danced perfectly like how BTS did.

What a weird group of friends.
