Pov-zero

Once the song was finished they were out of breath.

I didn't know they listen to bts...

"Sooooo how was our dancinggggg" Amelia ask

I gave her thumbs up and she started screaming

Is that a bad thing?

I took a couple steps back. Feeling like I'm gonna get beat up or something.

"Zero?" Someone ask

I couldn't do anything, it was like I was frozen.

"Zero?" They yelled again

It was like I was trapped. Something was holding me down from moving

I see someone run into the house. Everything was blurry I couldn't feel anything, all i could here was my heartbeat.

Pov-Oakley

When Amelia was screaming I zero started stepping back until his back hit the wall.

"Zero?"

No reply.

Everyone got quiet and looked at at zero with concern.

"Zero?" Amelia says

We started to freak out a little. I don't know what's wrong with him

"I'm gonna get my mom guys keep your eyes on him" I say

I run into the house and looked for mom.

I found her on the couch talking to Leo and Sam

"Mom ther- there's something wrong with zero" I say

Mom got up and ran to the backyard.

Pov- Katie

I got up and ran to the backyard. My mom instincts just made me do that.

"Zero?" I ask as I walk up to him.

He was looking straight ahead. Like he's in a different world.

I touch his shoulder a little but still no response.

"It's like he's hypnotized" leo says walking up beside me

"Zero?" I say again

The only thing I can think of was hugging him.

And that's what I did...

Pov- zero

I was trapped. All I saw was a lady and I was a kid around three years old.

"Listen zero, everythings gonna be alright okay, your gonna find a new home, your gonna be safe, your gonna be happy okay?"

Mom?

"Okay zero?"

"Why? Where are you going?" I ask

"Your going somewhere you'll be safe okay, I promise I'll come back and get you" mom said

We heard something downstairs break. Mom started to shake a little.

"Mommy, don't leave me please mommy" I say sobbing

"I'm so sorry baby it's the only way I can protect you, I'm sorry" she said tears going down her face

"Mommy please please don't leave me I love you Mommy please dont"

"I'm sorry"

"I'll get a job mommy and-and I'll protect you and Ill-Ill mommy don't leave me I can't live without you"

"I love you and you know I do. I promise I'll come back" she said

"Okay mommy just don't get hurt by daddy anymore, i tried to protect you from him mommy but I didn't you still got hurt"

"It's okay, I promise I won't get hurt anymore, your a brave little boy okay baby. Thank you"

"Mommy your brave, I'm brave, we be brave together, let me stay with you please mommy please" I say sobbing louder

We hear a big bang on the door

"LET ME IN" daddy screams

"MOMMY DONT LEAVE ME, MOMMY ILL PROTECT YOU MOMMY I DONT WANT YOU TO GET HURT ANYMORE I PROMISE ILL TRY HARDER I PROMISE" I scream to her

"I love you zero" she cries

And then she hugged me...

I was snapped out of my flashback when I felt someone wrap there arms around me

"Zero, it's okay" I hear the woman say

I started to cry a little and hug her.

"Shhhh it's okay zero, your safe"

She started to unwrap her arms around me but I hug her tighter.

She hugged me back again.

"Zero, it's okay, I know what your going through okay, I know what it feels like being lost, scared, angry, afraid"

I started to sob louder and I felt something cold on my shoulder even though I was wearing a sweater

"It's okay zero, I promise things will get better" Katie says

"Okay?" She ask

I nod my head and hug her tighter..

Mom where are you?
