CHAPTER 4

Pov-zeros

The week passed. Now it's six in the morning and I'm getting ready for school.

Jessy and Patty has been hitting me more and more. What have I don't wrong? I just a fifteen year old orphan boy.

I took a shower last night because I had to get the blood off my face. I know we guys shouldn't cry cause it made us look weak but I couldn't help but cry. I couldn't help feel lonely and unloved which I am.

I put on my dark ripped skinny jeans and my dark long sleeve shirt. I put on my sketchers and brushed my swoopy hair. Doesn't really need brushed since it gets messed up cause of the wind but I'mma brush it anyways.

I have a bruise on my cheek so Patty made me cover it up by makeup. Makeup is like magic cause you can even tell that there's a bruise there.

I pick up my bag and walk downstairs. I see Patty and Jessy smoking and watching TV.

"If you get in trouble your getting a beating" Jessy says as he gets up and walks to the kitchen

I nod my head quickly and open the front door.

"HURRY" Patty screams

I run out the door and try to get as far away as I can from the house. I really wish I had a vehicle so I don't have to run or walk to school.

I slow down my pace once I don't see the devil's house anymore. I start to walk down the sidewalk. Only three more miles to go. You can do this zero.

Me and Ethan get called up to the office. I know I didn't do anything that shouldn't get me in trouble so why am I getting called up here?

Me and Ethan made small talk but stop when we get to the office.

"Hello kids, I need a favor to ask you"

Our principal Ms, Casey says as she starts to walk to the front lobby.

Me and Ethan follow behind. Ms, Casey stops at the front desk and turns toward us.

"There's a new student coming today. Can you guys show him around the school and show him where is classes are and everything?" Ms, Casey ask

"Sure" me and Ethan say at the same time.

"His name is Zero Prince and he's fifteen years old" Ms, Casey says with a nod

Me and Ethan smile and say okay.

We waited in the lobby which had chairs for twelve minutes until a boy with brown swoopy hair comes in.

"That must be him. I thought he would be........Bigger and manly looking"

"Ethan that's not nice don't you have manner's?" I ask while getting up and walk toward zero

"Hey you must be zero right?" I ask with a little wave

Zero look at us and takes a step back. He nods his head and looks down.

"Well I'm Oakley and this right here is my friend Ethan"

"You mean best friend Ethan"

I smack Ethan in the arm and hold out my hand to shake zeros

He looks at my hand and then takes another step back.

Maybe he's shy like super shy. I think it's cute.

Zero looks kinda scared. I bet he's just shy.
