Remember zero is four years old when he has flashbacks.

Pov-zero

I woke up to an alarm going off. I hear someone groan and get up.

I open my eyes to see Nathan getting up and turning off the alarm. I look around and saw Jacy and miles up and on there phone.

Well time to get up. Why does there have to be school on a Monday?

I see everyone else get up, slowly.

This is gonna be a long day.

We enter the school. Going our separate ways to get to our lockers.

I went to mine and put in the combination. I got my books out and put them in my bag. I close my lockers and went over to miles and Ethan.

"Listen bud, if anybody tries to pick on you and shove you into a locker or punch you or anything you call miles, okay?" Ethan says as he hold out his phone.

I slowly nod my head and grab the phone out of his hand.

"His contact is the first one, I took off the password so you can get in it, okay"

I nod my head. I turn on the phone.

"Give it a try" miles says

I nod my head and slowly unlocked the phone. I go to the contracts and went to the one that said miles name. I pressed the call button and heard miles phone start ringing.

He declines the call and smiled at me.

"Good, now whenever your not with us and something happens call us"

I nod my head. They pat me on the back and then we met up with everyone else.

As I was walking down the hallway alone I hear people snickering behind me.

I turn around and saw Tobias and his squad. There coming towards me.

I turn back around and started to walk faster trying to get away from them. I lift my hood onto my head and kept my head down.

Stay clam.

They didn't notice you...yet.

Breath.

Don't walk to fast or they'll know it's you!

Don't turn around...

"Hey twerp"

Stupid

I stop and stare at the ground. I don't wanna look up and see tobias and his squad. I wished today I'll go without getting bullied but it seems like my wish can't be friken granted.

"What's up twerp, cat got your toung?" Tobias ask, stepping in front of me while his squad circles around us.

I look up and glare at Tobias. I look at him and he had a few cuts on his face and two bruises. One on his cheek and another under his eye..... didn't know I was that mad?

"He's still a mute" Tobias slams me against the locker, holding me up by my hoodie.

"So? Your to wimp to talk?"

I glare at Tobias, grabbing the hand that's holding me up by my hoodie.

"YOUR A MONSTER YOU DESERVE TO DIE"

Dad is holding me up by my shirt, screaming in my face.

I start to tighten my grip on Tobias hand.

"YOUR A MOSTER DAD, YOUR A NIGHTMARE, MOMMY LEFT BECAUSE OF YOU"

I dig my nails into Tobias hand

"IF SHE DIDN'T HAVE YOU SHE WOULD'VE STAYED WITH ME"

"Little zero getting angry?"  Tobias says,Mockingly

"MOMMY SAYS ITS NOT MY F-FAULT" I cry, clinching his hand

"What are you gonna do, fight back? Wimp, you only left me with a few scratches"

Dad punches me in the gut but not letting go of my shirt.

"YOU LITTLE-"

"Your the monster, your the nightmare, your the person that made mom leave" I whisper

Tobais lifts his fist and slamms it in my face.

"SHUT UP" dad yells, slapping me in the face

"Mommy never loved you, she only pretended for my sake, she wanted me to have a dad in my life but look? what kinda dad holds up a four year old up by the shirt and hitting them In the gut?" I say glaring.

I feel Tobias throw me to the floor.

"YOUR THE DEVIL, YOUR THE LITTLE DEVIL LIVING IN THIS HOUSE" Dad yells, punching me in the stomach again.

"you say you love her but why did you hurt her? Mom said you loved her but she always had a fake smile. You never showed any kinda affection towards her"

Tobias and his squad start to kick and punch me. I block some of the punches but not the kicks.

"Your a monster that no kid ever wanted to believe in. Your the monster that won't leave me alone. Your the monster that hurt mom, hurt the baby in her belly, hurt me, you tore the family apart now your gonna be on your own for the rest of your life"

"Look, can't even fight back" I hear Tobias say.

When everyone stopped kicking and punching me I got up, I got up like I wasn't beated to death.

I lift my head up and saw Tobias squad eyes wide and some of the mouths hanging open.

"Gonna fight back wimp" tobias ask

I smirk which made tobias take a step back.

"Whatever happens promise to always stand up for yourself zero" mom says

I nod my head. Laying beside mom on my bed.

"Promise you will zero?"

I look up at mom and smiled at her.

"I promise mommy"

"Tch, why are you smirking mute?"

"Stand up for yourself zero"

Okay mom......a promise is a promise.
