- Ok?
- The reason why I was at the police station is that someone was following me. I think they know we're here.
- Thank god you're okay.
- Well, of course they know, but I didn't think they'd do anything about it. What more would they want from us anyway? – Kankuro asked, looking irritated.
- I don't know, more money? They might've thought that dad left us a fortune or something.
- Well they should've looked inside the next kazekage's pockets.
- Hey guys, we don't know if the person who was following Gaara was really one of them or not. Let's not jump to conclusions. – said Temari.
- Yeah, but it's a possibility!
- Gaara, did you see him?
- No, I just saw a figure. Didn't see the face.
Gaara went back to his room, leaving the two in their thoughts and his phone's lit screen was the first thing he noticed. He glanced at it to see the lock screen has been filled with Matsuri's name.
Gaara wasn't sure if he should open it or not. But he grabbed his phone anyway, knowing he was probably making a mistake.
Matsuri: Hey! How are you?
: I hope you're feeling better! Are you coming to school tomorrow?
: Did you do the phusics assignment that I gave you? It's 20 points, just wanted to make sure you knew
: *physics – it was a typo, I swear.
: You should really do the assignment though, Tsunade-sama won't be easy on you just because you were sick. And tomorrow we have a test too, you don't want to miss that. You might fail.
: I'm sorry, I'm being annoying, you probably know.
: Gaara?
: I wanted to say something to you.
: For a long time, really
: you know what, forget I said anything, never mind.
Gaara thought about what she was gonna say. He grabbed his phone tight, wondering if he should reply or not. He didn't reply to her once for a while and he didn't know why the girl would be still messaging him.
Me : I'm fine. And yeah, I already did the assignment, thanks for letting me know.
: I'm coming to school tomorrow. Seeya there.
Matsuri: Oh heyy! I seriously thought u were dead or sth. I'll save your seat then!
Me: What were u going to tell me?
: nothing, really, never mind that.
Me: OK.?
