- "T-That would be 250 yen, thank you."
Temari always imagined herself working at an ice-cream parlor. Now she's just wondering why because having her most favorite thing in the world be right in front of her perfectly available to everyone except her was hell in its own way, and at least she would be warm in hell.
The door swung unnecessarily hard, and she silently thanked herself for taking down the bells. Kankuro stepped inside, looking at the door with a surprised expression.
- "Sorry, I really didn't mean to do that."
- "No, it's not your fault. That door looks surprisingly heavy for its weight. The owner says it discourages robbers."
- "What kind of robbers steal from ice-cream parlors?"
- "The kind that would be discouraged by heavy looking doors. What do you want, Kankuro?"
- "Seriously? I can't see my sister without wanting anything?"
- "I meant the ice-cream."
- "Oh, well I don't know, I think I might get a cold..."
- "What's up girl, we're all here to check up on you." - said Ino, followed by everybody.
- "Chocolate, the big one." - said Kankuro.
- "Smooth." - she said under her breath as she turned to greet the girls.
- "I'm fine, you guys. You don't need to do this."
- "Do what, have ice-cream? Sorry, I can't help you there." - Tenten said, grinning.
After having served everybody, Temari joined the table.
- "So, you're not suicidal, are you?"
- "Ino!"
- "What? Wasn't that the reason we came here in the first place?"
- "It's fine. No, I'm not suicidal. What's going on with you guys?"
- "Well, Hinata's been knitting." – said Ino.
- "Really? That's cool." - said Kankuro.
- "T-Thanks."
- "It's for you know who, who thinks she's just a really thoughtful friend." - added Ino.
Hinata hid behind her ice-cream.
- "Sakura's getting a car. But don't get too excited, the car has a curfew."
- "That's great, Sakura." - Temari said, smiling.
- "Thanks."
- "And I don't think anyone's going away for college. Except Neji. He made it to the Land of Snow." – Ino finished.
- "That's great for him."
- "I heard your decisions arrived. I'm so sorry." - said Tenten. Her voice was full of concern and sorrow.
- "It's fine, I really liked it here anyway. Plus, if I went away again, it'd look like I was running away."
- "Definitely. It's a good idea to show them you don't care. And trust me, you don't want to be Shiho. A cousin of mine got pregnant last June, and she's really suicidal. She says it's been the hardest time of her life. Her advice is to burn any guy who claims they're going to pull out in time."
- "Ino! She's not pregnant!" - Tenten yelled under her breath.
- "Yeah, sure, sure. I'm positive they married for love."
