So I realize, after writing a little bit of this story, I've put young teenagers in mature situations. Instead of seeing them as freshman in high school I've decided to bump everyone up a couple of years.
Avery: Junior
Olly: Senior
Melissa: Senior
Greg: Junior
Logan: Junior
Taylor: Sophomore
Sara: Junior
Madeline: Junior
Richie and Henry: Seniors
I'm so sorry for the mix up! With my new characters I'll be sure to mention their grade and/or age. So when Avery talks about losing friends when she came to high school, this still is true, even three years later. She's still adjusting to not being as happy as she wanted to be. She's just a couple years older now and never really found a group to blend in with.
