The Coming of Vampires

Reeyenna was left with questions about who the  boy was who had just saved her life and what her family would think of what she is now.

Well, after Reeyenna had cleared her head for the time being she started looking for Jace again. She wondered even further into the woods to look for her missing dog and still couldn't find him. Reeyenna was starting to get worried. Thoughts coming in and out of her head about, well, EVERYTHING! She was thing about what could've happened to Jace, all the bad things that could've happened.

She was then able to shake these bad thoughts and feelings away to focus on looking for her dog. A minute later she heard a dog barking. It sound like it was close, but there was nothing, but trees in sight, so she kept walking in that same direction. After walking for a while she heard the barking again, but this time it was much louder and when she looked around she saw Jace! She ran to him to take him home.

As Reeyenna was walking home she noticed that the sun was setting and she was gone all day! She knew her parents would be extremely angry for her being out all day without them knowing where she was or what she was doing, but most of all they would be very worried for her not knowing where she was or what could've happened.

Reeyenna came to her house with her parents outside on the deck waiting scared of not knowing what happened to their daughter. Reeyenna approached them covered in dirt and leaves from the woods. Her mother asked, "What happened Reeyenna?!" Reeyenna told her parents about Jace slipping his collar and running into the woods at the park and she went after him to take him home, but got lost herself. She told them that she didn't realize how late it was until she found Jace and made it out of the woods.

Reeyenna was too scared and confused to tell them about the encounter with the wolf or the note that was left. She kept it to herself until she thought she was ready or until the truth came out.

After Reeyenna cleaned up she went to her room and laid on her bed thinking about the note she kept going over it again and again. She didn't know who it was who saved her and it bugged her. She wanted to thank him for saving her, but she did realize why he didn't want her know who he was. Reeyenna thought that maybe he didn't show himself to her because he was scared of her reaction. She thought how particular students at school would jump to conclusions and assume the worst of her if they ever found out what she was.

It is now almost ten o'clock at night and Reeyenna forgot to do her homework that's due tomorrow! She went to get it to finish it and once she did it was one in the morning she tried to get some sleep, but couldn'd fall asleep. So instead she stayed up and talked to Jace about what happened to make sense of it. Next thing she knew her alarm for school went off and she was astonished that she wasn't even a little bit tired. It was like she slept in on the weekend.
