XXXIV/ Nerd rant

  Prepare for the nerdiest/geekiest thing you have ever read.

  Yes, these are the actual things I think about. No, I do not have a social life.

  Jedi, what the heck are you guys thinking?! Everything you guys stand for is so contradictory!

  •"Only sith deal in absolutes." (First of all, that's an absolute in itself) then there's, "Do or do not, there is no try." Well what ever happened to no absolutes? You're literally eliminating the middle ground!

• "No possessions allowed! It will make you selfish and attached." Then they go on to say crap like. "This lightsaber is your life." What?!

  (I've probably lost more than half of you already by now. Oh well🤷‍♀️)

• "No attachments!"
"Here, take this padawan under your wing to train and take on adventures where you will both save each other's lives multiple times, maybe in one day, and spend the majority of your lives developing a strong trust between each other."

• "We're keepers of the peace. Not soldiers." Who's bright idea was it to make these guys war generals?

• (not a contradiction but still a huge screw up on their part) ^Oh right, it was the secret sith that was living, correction, RULING under everyone's noses. "That's imposible, the sith of old died out years ago."

• (doesn't apply to the Jedi order as a whole, but Anikin is a Jedi so it counts)
"I was not elected to watch my people suffer and die while you discuss this invasion in a committee." -Padme
"so this is how liberty dies, with thunderous applause." -Also Padme.
*to the sith* "I pledged myself to you."-Anikin. IN WHAT UNIVERSE IS THIS GOING TO WORK?!
