   " Hey, Garroth. "

   " Hey, Laurence. Who's that? "

I stepped away from the wall and looked at Garroth.

   " Sup, Garroth. "

   " Y-Y/n!? I didn't know you would be here. "

" Ya Laurence invited me here. Do you not want me here?"

" No, I do! I really do. But Laurence why did you tell me to come later than...OH!"

   " What?"

" I get it now. You wanted to be alone with her before I came! "

" Well, I knew you were going to be late. " Laurence said.

Garroth shook his head and looked back at me.

" Well, any case I'm glad you could make it. "

" Thanks, Garroth. Sorry for coming without you knowing. "

" No, it's fine. This isn't actually bad. I can spend some more time with you. "

He stepped closer to me. He was right in front of me. He had a kind smile on his face.

" Hey! Back up. You're getting to close. " Laurence said stepping in front of me.

" What? She doesn't seem to mind. "

   " Well, I do. "

" Guys let's not argue. How about we go sit on a bench and talk?"

" Sure! " They both said.

We started walking in the direction Garroth came from. We walked to the bench and I sat on it with Garroth sitting beside me. Laurence stood in front of us.

" So Laurence how was practice?"

" It was okay. We lost a lot of our best players though. They graduated. "

" Well, at least you can act like a leader and lead them. "

" True. What about you Garroth? How was baseball?"

" It was fine. Nothing too bad, but I agree with you we lost a lot of good players. "

" Wait. Garroth you play baseball?"

   " Ya, You didn't know?"

   " No, I didn't. I knew Laurence played soccer, but I didn't know you played a sport. "

" Ya, I'm the captain of the baseball team. "

   " That's so cool. "

" Ya, you should come to one of my games sometime. "

" Trying to make her one of your fangirls Garroth? " Laurence said.

" No! I'm not. I just thought it would be nice seeing Y/n in the crowd cheering me on. "

   " W-Well...maybe one day. "

" I hope that one day is soon. "

I blushed at his comment.

" W-What about you Laurence? T-Tell me about soccer. "

" Well, our next game isn't until a month later. We need a lot of practice. "

   " Oh, I see. "

I looked at the time to see that the sun was going down. I decided to head on home. I stood up and started walking back to my house saying goodbye to Laurence and Garroth. When I got home I opened the door and walked inside. I went upstairs and took a shower and headed to bed.
