Vylad

I saw brown hair as we ran out of the crowd. I thought of two possible answers to who this person might be.

' It has to be Laurence or Vylad. Since he is my height and not Garroths height this has to be Vylad. Where are we going? '

He lead us out of the crowd and down the beach.

" Vylad where are we going? "

" I wanna show you something. I found this spot earlier today while everyone was swimming. "

" Okay. "

We started running towards this spot that he found. He didn't really give me any details about where we were going, but I trusted him enough to help me beat someone's butt if it came down to it. We started walking once we got tired of running and walked for a couple more minutes before we stopped walking.

" This is the spot. "

I looked around the area, and saw nothing amazing or suspicious. I just saw the sand and the ocean hitting it lightly.

" What's here that makes it so special? "

" Just wait a couple more seconds. "

" Okay. Can you tell me what's about to happen? "

" Nope. You'll have to be patient. "

I waited and then I saw the sand start shifting. I saw something small and green emerge from the sand.

" They're turtles! "

" Yeah! I was playing over here earlier today and accidentally kicked the sand and I saw one of the turtles. I covered the little guy back up and ran off remembering this spot. I wanted to bring you here later. "

There were more turtles that were emerging from the sand. They all walked towards the ocean. Once they reached the waves they submerged themselves in the water and swam deeper in. We watched them as they got out of the sand and went to the ocean. Once there was only a few left Vylad walked to the closest turtle. He scooped up the sand around the turtle and picked it up in both of his hands. He walked back to me and held the turtle between us.

" Isn't she cute? "

" How do you know it's a she? "

" I don't know. I'm guessing. "

" You are right though. She or he is really cute. "

The turtle didn't moove, but didn't retract into its shell either. The turtle looked between us and didn't move.

" I think it's not afraid of us. "

" I believe you are right. If it was it would have went into it's shell and waited for us to set them back down. "

He set the turtle down and the turtle started on its journey to the ocean. When they all dissapeared Vylad and I just stared into the ocean and watched the waves slowly pull towards the shore. The dark sky made the ocean even more beautiful than the sun during the day time.

" This is a beautiful view Vylad. "

" I've seen prettier. "

" Where? "

" Right here in front of me. "

I turned towards him to see him looking at me. A small blush made its way to my face as I turned my attention back to the ocean and the stars. He held my hand clasped in his as we watched the view. At one point he turned me towards him and I faced him with a blushing red face. His face was a little red as well.

" Y/n I didn't bring you out here to just look at the turtles. "

" Oh? "

" Yeah, I wanted to tell you. Y/n I like you a lot, but you probably knew that already. I saw those fireworks and I realized someone was going to confess to you tonight so I tried to beat them to the punch. I think it was Garroth, but I'm not sure. Y/n w-will you be mmy girlfriend? "

I smiled as I looked at Vylad. I let go of his hands and wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me as we held each other.

" I would love to be your girlfriend Vylad. "

" Really!? "

" Really. "

His grip around me tightened and he picked me up and swung me around. Then he set me down. I pulled away from him, but kept my hands on his neck. He had the biggest smile on his face.

" I think that's the biggest smile I've ever seen on your face. "

" Can you blame me? The girl of my dreams is now my girlfriend. "

" I can't blame you then. "

Quickly, he pulled me closer and crashed his lips onto mine. I kissed him back and he pulled away with his huge smile still on his face. He grabbed my hand and we started running towards the condo.

" Let's go tell the others! I can't wait for them to hear you're mine. "

" You are certainly happy about this. You gotta deal with me now you know. "

" If I have to I will shout it to the world from the top of the tallest building. "

" That's sweet Vylad. "

We ran back to the condo and that's exactly what he did. He shouted throughout the condo that we were dating.
