Zane

Zane. He lead me out of the crowd and we walked away from the crowd.

   " Zane where are we going? "

   " Away from the huge crowd, idiot. "

   " Okay. "

We walked a few more minutes until we were a ways away from everyone. Zane stopped walking and he held my hand gently. I could feel the nervousness radiating off of him.

   " Zane, are you okay? "

   " Why wouldn't I be? "

   " I just feel like you're nervous. "

   " I am. "

   " Why?

   " Well, I might as well tell you now. This is going to be the worst confession ever. "

   ' Confession? '

   " Look Y/n. I-I like you. More than a friend. I know we haven't known each other for long, but I don't want someone else stealing you away before I get a chance. "

I felt his hand tighten around mine a little bit. I looked at his baby blue eyes and they looked at mine with hope.

   " Y/n I don't know who did those fireworks, but I want you to know I like you. I....I know you may not like me back because of my brothers, but I wanted to tell you because....I want you to choose me, Y/n. "

   " Zane. I do like you. You're right we haven't known each other for long, but I do like you. I want to take it slow though Zane. "

   " I agree with that, but I'm going to move fast for a second. "

Quickly he pulled his mask down and kissed me. It was soft and gentle. I felt him start to pull away a bit. I opened my eyes and looked into his baby blue eyes. I felt a blush on my face and I saw dimples on his.

   ' I think I'm the first that's going to ever see him without his mask. '

I smiled at him and took his mask from him. I held it in my hands as I looked at his dimpled face.

   " I like you better without your mask Zane. "

   " I'll keep it off for you N/n. "

   " Baby brother!! "

I looked and saw Garroth running towards you and Zane. Zane took the mask from you and put it back on his face. When Garroth reached the two of you he jumped onto Zane. Zane couldn't hold Garroth's weight so he fell with Garroth on top of him.

   " Sibling pile! " Vylad yelled.

Vylad jumped onto Garroth. They laid in the sand and they all smiled except for Zane who was struggling to get out of the pile. Garroth had tears in his eyes.

   " I'm so proud of you baby brother! "

   " GET OFF OF ME! "

I walked over to Zane and saw that he was able to free his hands. I grabbed his arms and started pulling him out of the pile. When he was out I helped him stand and Garroth and Vylad stood up too. Garroth instantly stood and hugged me and Zane.

   " Why aren't you upset Garroth? Y/n isn't single anymore? " Aphmau asked.

   " Because my baby brother has finally found love. "

   " LOVE!!??" We both shouted.

I felt my face get redder and I tried to get out of Garroth's grip, but he was to strong.

   " Garroth I don't know what love is! I Like Y/n! I have to find love first! "

   " You have already found it Zane. You just don't realize it yet, but I see how you two look at each other. It's love! To answer your question Aphmau I'm glad my baby brother found someone to love. I was afraid he wouldn't find it, but he did. Even if it was with the girl I like. "

   " I'm sorry garroth. "

   " It's okay Y/n. I'm fine with it. Just don't hurt each other. "

   " We won't. "

   " Never. " Zane said with seriousness in his tone.

   " Good. "

We grabbed our things and started walking back to the condo. I walked with Zane with our hands gently intertwined. when we reached the condo I set my stuff beside my bed and I walked to the couch in the living room and sat on it. I grabbed a pillow and hugged it as I laid on the couch.

   " What are you doing N/n? "

   " Sleeping. "

   " On the couch? "

   " Yup. Katlyn steals all the blankets. "

   " Well, won't it be uncomfortable? "

   " A little, but it's fine. "

   " Here. "

Zane picked me up and held me against his chest. Then he carried me to his room. He laid me on his bed and covered me with the blankets. He laid on the other side and faced me. His mask was still on so I reached towards his face and took it off.

   " You said you would take it off for me. "

   " When we are alone I will, but for now let's keep it on. I don't want the others seeing okay? "

   " Okay. "

I closed my eyes and started to fall asleep in Zane's embrace.

( In the morning )

I woke up and sat up. I rubbed my eyes and looked around. I saw the light coming in from the window and smiled.

   ' Where is Zane? '

   " GARROTH GIVE IT BACK!!!! "

I stood up and got out of bed. I looked out of the bedroom door and saw Zane running around without his mask. Zane was covering his face with his hands. Garroth was running around with the mask in his hands.
