David

"You know, I never really liked Miami. Im more of a New York type of guy."

I watched as Dinero sipped his drink flashing his huge pinky ring. I probably was sweating bullets but of course I played it cool.

"Oh yeah? What part are you from?" I caught him off guard because he shot his eyes up at me and sat his drink down slowly.

"Crown Heights, and yourself?"

"Harlem."

"See Dave, the thing about us is.. we know what the streets want. We can build a empire, you run Harlem, and of course me.. Heights. I'm not just talking about drugs my man, I'm thinking clubs.. Harlem and Heights."

"You think big, but I dream bigger and I also like fast paced."

He sipped his drink again and waited to speak. "Tonight I'm having a yacht party, and I wouldn't mind if you come along."

"Alright, i'll be there."

Yanna

"A yacht party? What do you even wear to that."

"I don't know babe, just look good. I don't wanna go along, so maybe if I bring you for some company i'll feel better. You sure your Aunt doesn't mind watching Kairi?"

"Yeah, she said they'll have a blast and you know I think she thinks we have something going on, I mean I think we have something going on. Considering the fact you live here, which I don't mind but I told you before my place is kind of small for the three of us don't you think? David? David?" I walked out the closet and he was laid out on the bed snoring and I groaned I know this party wasn't until later but I still needed help finding something to wear.

-

"I'm not too sure about this."

"It'll be fine baby, you with me."

We walked up to the dock and it was a security guard and a tall slender woman holding a clipboard and a pen.

"Name?"

"Dave East."

"And you?"

"Ayanna Davis"

"Ok, I see Dave but not you."

"She's with me."

"Yeah obviously but I can't let her in if her name not on the-"

"Sheree, it's cool. Let them in."

She stepped aside and so did the security guard and we walked inside greeted by this Dinero guy I'm assuming.

"David, so glad you could make it. Champagne?"

"Glad to be invited and no thanks, I'm good."

He turned to me taking a champagne glass off of the the waiters tray. "For you."

"Thank you."

"Uhh, David. I'd like you to meet some of my other colleagues as I like to say."

"Alright, i'll find you around."

"Enjoy the party."

I moved closer to David as the boat started to fill up and it pulled off from the dock.

"You okay?"

"Mhm." I nodded and sipped on my champagne. "What am I gonna do when you meet the other people? I don't know any of these people."

"I don't know, it shouldn't take long. Have a drink, eat some of this sushi shit they got. Look, you look good tonight. Have fun and don't worry about anything okay?"

"Alright... thanks." He pecked my lips and went off to meet other people. I went to the food table and grabbed a couple a fruit and cheese, I was not eating sushi. I spotted a couple of shrimps and managed to snatch those before they were all gone. I found a table and sat down to enjoy myself and the food. Moments later a girl came up to me.

"Hey, anybody sitting here?"

"No, have at it."

"Good, I don't know anybody here I feel out of place."

"Same, here with a husband or boyfriend?" I looked at her hands while she nibbled on little sandwiches noticing her big ass ring.

"My husband. He got lost to do some business, what about you?"

"Um, my boyfriend. He got lost as well."

"Is this your first time at and event like this?"

I nodded. "Yeah, both of us actually."

She jerked her head in amazement. "Really? Well you're in for a treat."
