A month passed by and you could only believe what happened since I've been back. My Uncle got himself into a little bit of trouble and was locked up, like always he makes bail but that doesn't keep the feds off of him because they can sense when something illegal is going on. But the thing was, my uncle had two dirty workers, one was a cop and the other was a judge so he always got out of his dirty work just as good.
Like promised, I moved out and got myself a condo near the beach like I always dreamed of. I felt myself maturing, I didn't throw any house parties, I wasn't at the club like how I usually be, everything was strictly business, modeling that is. I kept in touch with my friends as best as I could while I began to travel around a little, but I always made sure I kept in touch with Dave. He promised me he was going to fly down, but I doubt that would happen cause his fan base was growing bigger and bigger by the day.
I placed my cereal bowl in the sink and noticed my phone was ringing. I quickly answered the FaceTime call when I noticed it was David, when I answered it was Kairi and him together like usual.
"Heyyy you guys, Hey Kairi."
"Hey." She waved in the camera and I giggled beginning to make conversation with her until her dad told her to go play or something.
"Wassup witchu'?"
"Nothing much, what's up with you superstar?"
He chuckled. "C'mon now, you know I don't let it get to the head."
"Really? Cause you always busy now." I rolled my eyes and he sucked his teeth.
"And you not?"
"Not as much as you are, for all I know you probably got-"
"Got what? Another female? You think I'm like that."
I rolled my eyes once more and realized I was tripping cause this nigga wasn't even MY nigga. He could catch all this faithfulness if he wanted, but I just figure he got a career and a baby to worry about, not me. I've only known him for a good 3 months anyway so if anything was to happen between us I would be okay with that. At this point in my life these toys weren't doing me any good but I appreciate my friends trying to help a sister out. I didn't want to rush it with Dave either but if he said the words, all hands on DICK okay honey cause I-
"Hello?"
I was snapped out of my thoughts by him constantly calling my name. "My bad, I was thinking about something. What'd you say though?"
"I said I'm coming down the end of the week because I have a little break so I thought maybe I could spend it with you."
I smiled at the camera. "That's sweet, you thought about me."
"Im always thinking about you girl."

I blushed and we continued to talk until I was getting another call from my Uncle, I groaned and told Dave i'll talk to him later then I answered my Uncle's call.
"Hello."
"Yana, baby girl. How are things?"
"Im fine, what happened?"
"Why you think something happened?"
"Why you sound so happy?"
"Well my charges were dropped."
"That's not surprising, don't you ever think your little dirty cop friends can get in trouble for even helping you?"
"Yes, but they help me, I help them. They get what they want and I get what I want. Simple as that."
"Yeah well, that's really foul. Where's Aunt K?"
"Oh you know how she does, wake up shopping, go to sleep shopping."
"Yeah I know."
"I've been meaning to talk to you about Dave."
"What about him?"
"How serious is this?"
"What do you mean, were just friends."
"Ayana, c'mon u can tell me. I've noticed and your Aunt noticed how you so quick to answer the phone when he call."
"Like I said, he's just a friend."
"Fine, don't agree to it. But I will say.... you might want to keep him around."
