I watched as Yana played with Kairi and I enjoyed the sight of it. I never really got to see how Kairi would be around different women because I didn't want to bring just anybody around her, like how her mama brung all those no good ass thug niggas around. I didn't like that shit at all, and because I was so busy I couldn't get full custody of her. When the time comes, I'm all for it.

"What is this?"

"Puppy."

"Annnd, what is this one?" Ayana pointed to the different animals while Kairi named a few of them she knew.

"Pig."

She looked up at me and laughed. "You got your money ready to enroll her into Harvard?"

I laughed as well and shook my head. "If that's what she wants, i'm here for it."

Our conversation was interrupted by her phone ringing, she reached for it answering and also leaving the room. I sighed and turned my attention to my baby girl. "It's time for you to KO Ri, c'mon lets go." She ran down the hall to her room cause she already knew it was bath time and night time.

"What's really going on? Y'all don't have to lie to me I'm grown."

"It's just some business and we preferred you not to be here."

"Does this have anything to do with-"

"Hey, look Ayana. Please be safe okay? I know you want to feel independent and be on your own but do NOT let security out your site. I know your at Dave's now but he can handle it if something goes wrong."

My mind begin to race with questions cause something was being hidden and the secrets had to stop sooner or later before there's a repeat of him being locked up, or even worse killed.

"This whole shoot? Was a set up to get me out of Miami just so you can do your illegal work. I knew it, I knew you were still in the game. Why didn't y'all just tell me?"

"It's not what you think, it's something deeper then that. Look, i'll talk to you later okay? I love you and be safe."

I nodded as if he could see me and I wanted to hold the tears but they just kept coming. I was worried, I didn't know what was going on but I wanted it to be stopped before someone got hurt.
