The minute Patty was gone Barry pulled out his phone and called Y/N down to the lab.

"Hey, what's up?" she asked, jogging into his lab.

"We're screwed," Julian answered bluntly.

Barry stood up, "You need to get to S.T.A.R. Labs, now," Barry instructed. "Patty has me running a program to see where the Flashes go after every crime scene, using those directions she wants me to triangulate and find the central point," he explained.

"The lab," Y/N added. "Why don't you just give her a false location?" Y/N asked.

Barry shook his head, "I can't falsify information, she'll know, and it could get me into major trouble. Just get to the lab, get everyone and everything out, I don't care where you put it. Just make the place look abandoned."

Y/N nodded before rushing out, she arrived at S.T.A.R. Labs and explained the situation, the team all agreed to move it to a small S.T.A.R. Labs warehouse not far away. It was abandoned, but no one would suspect it, the facility there was still secure.

Back at the precinct, about two hours had passed, Y/N walked into Barry's lab. "Everything good to go," she said as Joe and Julian walked in, both feeling relieved.

The group headed downstairs as Barry headed towards Patty's desk, he handed her a file. "The location you asked for," he said walking away towards Y/N and the others.

Patty examined the address, she knew it was S.T.A.R. Labs, she had her plan all worked out, and Barry had just completed it for her. She planned to arrest him on conspiracy, and then prove it when she stormed S.T.A.R. Labs and found his team.

She grabbed an officer and headed towards Barry, pulling him away from his wife, "S.T.A.R. Labs, you own that building, don't you?" Patty asked harshly.

Barry turned to face her, "Yes, but it's been vacant ever since Harrison Wells died," he explained.

"Then explain to me how the Flashes are operating out of there," she said turning him around and putting cuffs around his wrists.

Y/N stepped in, "What the hell is happening?" she questioned.

"Barry Allen, you are under arrest for aiding and abetting two criminals, the Flashes," she said pulling Barry away, "You're next," she told Y/N.

Y/N turned to Joe, looking worried. "Can she do that?" Y/N asked.

Joe sighed, "Technically, yes. But if she doesn't have definitive proof in 48 hours that Barry is guilty of a crime she has to release him."

Y/N watched as Patty and her task force headed out, presumably for S.T.A.R. Labs. The task force arrived and barged in through the front doors, not seeing anything special, or out of the normal for an abandoned building.

"Search every inch, every floor, I want this place turned upside down!" she commanded, heading out.

Hours passed, and nothing. Patty was stumped, there was nothing there, the information Barry had given her was correct, she doubled checked it herself. They had checked every floor and every room, they found a central command center, but everything was powered down, dust covered everything and the technology looked old, as if it hadn't been used in ages.

Little did she know, Y/N and the team had switched the outdated technology in the warehouse with the technology that was in S.T.A.R. Labs.

At the precinct, Y/N was bombarded with reporters from various news stations, each reporter asking a different question. Joe finally stepped in and pulled her away, forcing the media to leave her alone.

Y/N sat with Joe and they watched as the news reporters showed reports of CCPD finding the possible base of operations for the Flashes, and how they were now criminals, not heroes. The report also showed photos of Barry, Head of the CSI Department at CCPD being arrested as a possible suspect.

Julian soon joined them, looking more worried than he did before, "What's wrong?" Y/N asked, "Besides everything that just happened."

"Spivot just ordered forensics to take a blood sample from Barry," he explained.

Y/N nodded, "We planned for that when we evacuated S.T.A.R. Labs," she added. "The blood lab is downstairs, right?" she asked.

Julian nodded, Y/N walked out towards the stairs. Once clear she flashed off and grabbed a second sample she had Caitlin alter, she switched the one CCPD took with the one Caitlin synthesized. It was the same, only the speed force energy, the metahuman component, had been removed.

She walked back upstairs and took her seat by Joe again, they were both furious with Spivot, and Singh, hell, the whole department.

Suddenly, Patty came back into the precinct, her task force behind her, she gave a worried glance Y/N's way before moving on. Y/N smirked, knowing that she didn't find anything on Barry, and now the blood sample would confirm that.

Hours later Barry was released, Y/N ran to him and hugged him tightly, Joe doing the same.  "We were so worried about you," Y/N said pulling back and pressing her lips against Barry's quickly.

Barry hugged her again, "I know," he whispered. "I was too," he admitted.

Singh stood to the side, his head hung in defeat, Patty beside him. "Again, the Department and I are so incredibly sorry about this, Barry," Singh apologized. "We apologize for the inconvenience," he added.

Barry wrapped his arms tightly around Y/N, before turning to Singh, "Look-"

"No," Joe interrupted, his voice raised. "This is inexcusable. Do you have any idea what this could do to his career, you charged him of being a criminal..."

Joe then led them away and towards the elevators, as they waited they could hear Singh disciplining Patty even through the closed doors of his office.

"Do you have any idea how this looks? To have my best CSI, the Head of the Department arrested, and on a whim that you couldn't even prove? And it doesn't end there, because you accused him of being the Flash! This is a nightmare!"

The elevator doors opened, Joe, Barry, and Y/N all headed home, having had enough of this day.
