"you excited for your baby sister?" i smiled at kash who stared at the ultrasound in amazement, he nodded without looking away from the screen.

the dr grabbed a towel and wiped the gel off my stomach, i thanked her and got up putting my shirt back on.

"how cute, a little mini y/n running around the place" smiled charles, "oh shut it" i laughed.

"hey is it possible i can get a picture of the baby?" he asked, "yeah sure, what for?" i asked as i got off the exam bed.

"i can't exactly tell you" he said, i was taken a back, "well i'm not giving you a picture unless you tell me" i said.

"kash why don't you go wait with aunty loren" charles suggested to kash who stood next to me on his ipad.

"ok" he said and walked out the room, "charles, why do you want the picture?" i asked again.

"i can't tell you" he said, he looked like he meant it making me nod. i sighed and gave him one of the ultrasound pictures.

"thank you" he smiled, "come on, let's go. i gotta get back to the enterprises anyways" i said as i looked at the time on my watch.

"yeah" he said and we walked out the room, i thanked the lady's at the front desk before heading back to the enterprises.

"so cute" loren said as she sat in front of me looking over the 3d ultrasound pictures, "she's gonna look just like her daddy" she said.

"yeah, she is" i smiled, "i wonder what joey's doing right now, probably out thinking or some shit. hopefully he hasn't killed anybody" i said.

loren snorted making my head snatch towards her way, "he's in a gang, obviously he's killed people when he started it and now".

"i don't wanna think about that" i said, she nodded and out of nowhere asked "did you give charles a photo?".

"yeah why?" i arched a brow, "oh nothing, just asking" she kissed her teeth.

"what is up with you and charles, out of nowhere he asks me for a photo and then says he can't tell me why and now you can't tell me either?! like what the hell are you guys keeping from me?!" i slammed my hands on my desk as i jumped out of my chair.

she flinched at my sudden act and got out the chair, "y-y/n, it's not like that" she stuttered.

"you know what, where's my phone" i looked around my desk but remembered i left it in my car.

i started walking out the office, "where are you going?" she asked. "i left my phone in the car, this conversation is not over" i said before walking out and downstairs to my car.

i honestly don't get what's so bad that they can't tell me, i told myself.

i found my phone and got out the car, i sighed and looked around the streets and sidewalks until my eye landed on someone from across the street.

my eyes went wide at who it was my eyes landed on, "joey".

he was wearing his usual black suit with his hands in his pocket, his neat clean haircut.

he was looking down at the streets until he looked up making eye contact with me, i started walking towards him but as a crowd of people walked by he disappeared.

i looked around at where he stood and he wasn't in sight, i paced back inside the building and back to my office where loren and charles were.

"you will not believe who i just saw" i said as my breathing became heavy, "who?" loren looked at charles then back at me.

"joey, i went to get my phone from the car and when i got out he was standing on the side walk across the street from me!" i exclaimed as they both looked at each other with confused faces.

"you saw joey?!" charles walked up to me with a shocked face, i rapidly nodded making him cover his mouth.

"did you talk to him?" charles asked impatiently, "that's the thing when i was walking up to him he disappeared".

they looked confused, "i don't mean like literal disappear- it doesn't matter how it happened the point is..joey is in new york and i saw him!".

"y/n i think you should go home, you've probably been thinking about him too much it's probably just your mind playing tricks" said charles,

i sighed "charles i'm not hallucinating, i saw joey!". he looked over at loren then back at me,

"ok" he shrugged, "ok?! that's all your gonna say?! ok?!".

"well what should i say then?" he chuckled, "i-i-ugh, i'm going home" i said and grabbed my things.

she walked out of the office making loren ask, "do i text them?".

"give it a minute, we need to wait for her to leave" i said and walked towards the window that showed the view of the entrance where she parked her car.

she got in and left straight back towards the house, "now" i said and loren texted them.

she nodded and we stood in front the desk waiting for the doors to open, i grabbed the ultrasound photo that y/n had given me earlier and looked over it.

"she's gonna look just like joey" i said, "i was thinking more y/n" they smiled.

"nah more joey" i laughed as i hugged the person, "hi loren" they said.

"hey" she smiled, "you gotta be-" they cut me off,

"careful, i know" they said, "now let me see the picture" they said.

i gave them the picture and they smiled widely, "she's gonna be beautiful".

"joey, she saw you today."
