Chapter 1: Leaving

Author's P.O.V:

Lady Yeon has lived in the Goguryeo Palace for most of her life. Seo Yeon has a fraternal twin sister

named Lee Hae Eun. She is also a Lady. However she lives in the Silla Palace. Their mother, Lee Seo Eun

is known as Lady Eun. She also lives in The Silla Palace. Seo Yeon hasn't seen her sister in forever... she

doesn't even know how she looks like. All she knows about Hae Eun is that she is the opposite of her. On

a bright day during the blossom season. Seo Yeon was called to the Princess's room.

Seo Yeon's P.O.V:

I walked to the princess's room. The guards opened the door for me. I entered the room and bowed.

"Annyeong Queen So Lee and Princess Jae Eun." I said. "Please Lady Yeon take a seat." Queen So Lee

said. I nodded and sat down. "Lady Yeon, the reason we called you today was because you are going

to be transferred to the Silla Palace." Princess Jae Eun said. "Mianhae to question but, wae?" I asked.

"Your mother is dying and asked... for you and your sister Lady Hae to be together." Queen So Lee tells

me. "I accept the request your highnesses." I say as I lower my head. "You will be leaving today at

sundown." Princess Jae Eun says. I nod. "Permission to leave your highnesses." I say. They nod. I get up

and bow. I leave and head to my room. I close my door and just sit there. "So this is the time I see my

mom and my sister." I say. I begin to tear up. "Why did you do that to me in the first place?" I said in a

silent voice. "Why couldn't you take me with you?" I asked into the thin air. I calmed down... fixed my

self and prepared myself. Sundown is going to happen in a few moments. I check my window. "Wow...

time flies quick." I said in my head. I went outside and before I entered the carriage. "Lady Yeon!!" I

hear someone say. I turn around. "Princess Jae Eun." I say as I bow. She hugs me. "I will miss you

cousin." She says. "I will miss you too Princess Jae Eun." I tell her. "If anything happens remember, you

can go to the cottage I gave to you." She says. I nod. "I have to go now your highness." I say. "Bye."

She says. I wave and enter the carriage. The close the cottage door and begin the way.

Two days later:

They open the carriage door and I leave the carriage. I stand up and see a new place. "This must be

palace. Before I go in... something stops me. I look at the inside. It's just a yard, but this only connects

to the entrance to the Palace. I just stand by the large gate. Something flashes through my mind. It's a

guy. "Ignore it Seo Yeon... it might just be your nervousness playing tricks on you." I said to myself.
