Chapter 8: The Ancient Scroll

Seo Yeon's P.O.V:

We stop at the entrance to the forest. I look at the person who took me away. "Hyun Min." I say.

"Everything was getting too awkward, I had to get you out of there." He says. "Thank you your

highness." I say as I bow. "Seo Yeon as a reward to me you have to answer a question." He says. "Okay

your majesty." I reply. "Who do you really love? Min Hyuk Hyung or Young Jae hyung?" He asks. I just

stared at him not knowing how to answer.

(Two months later)

We were searching for the scrolls that the king asked for when Young Jae says, "I found them!!" We all

go to him. There are a lot of scrolls. "Which one do we know is the one we need?" I ask. "Search

through all of them." Hyung Sik says. We all go through all the scrolls. "Lee Seo Yeon future Queen of

Silla, one whose appearance in the palace was never supposed to happen... " Hae Eun reads. "What?" I

say. All of our attention turns to her. "This is what the scroll says. It's ripped but I think the other half of

this scroll was supposed to be of the King. Which would be your husband." Hae Eun says. "But what

does it mean by, my appearance at the palace was never supposed to happen?" I ask. "Who knows,

but this is definitely you in the scroll." Min Hyuk says. "I wonder who Seo Yeon may marry in the future

to become Queen." Joo Hyung says. Min Hyuk, Hyung Sik and Young Jae look at him with a glare.

"What!!!! I am curious. If Seo Yeon becomes queen... who would be the future king of Silla? It could be

any of us six." He says. "That's true, but if it's one of you, who becomes king, That means I am dead."

Han Sung says. "We don't know if this is true though so let's not think any of it!" I say. "But what if it

is." Min Hyuk says. "Let the future blossom, if it turns out to be true, then we will know." I reply. I bow

and leave, before I did that, I grabbed the scroll and went to my room. I looked at the scroll again.

"How do I know if this is true?" I say. I decide to place the scroll somewhere safe and head to the jury's

work place. "Has my destiny been written out already?" I say to myself. *Knock Knock* "Come in." I

say. Someone opens the door. I look at the person. I bow. "Your highness what brings you here." I say.

"Lady Yeon you must return to Goguryeo, for The Princess needs to request something." The queen

says. "Of course when shall I return." I ask. "You will return in three days which means you shall leave

today." She says. "Of course your majesty, may we not speak of any of this to any one." I say. She

smiles and nods. I bow right before she leaves. I leave the work place and head to my room. I get

ready to leave and someone enters my room. I turn around and bow. "Seo Yeon where are you

going?" Young Jae asks. "Goguryeo." I say. "Why is it because of the scroll!" He says as he holds my

wrist. "No it's not, I will be back in three days, The Princess of Goguryeo who is my cousin called me

for something." I said. "But you are coming back right." He asks. I nod and give him a smile. "You

better okay." He says as he hugs me. I hug him back, "I promise to be back." I say. I get my things and I

leave my room. I head to the carriage and get inside.
