Chapter 6: Our Secrets

Seo Yeon's P.O.V:

(One Month Later)

I got better with the help of Young Jae and Joo Hyung who have been so kind and funny toward me. I

was heading to my workplace when I was stopped by Prince Hyung Sik. "Lady Yeon help me find some

beautiful flowers for someone special." He says. "Yes Your highness." I say and he leads me to

somewhere. We go to a bridge that has a lot of flowers attached to it. "What's this?" I ask. I turn

around but I don't see him. When I turn around again I see him. He's holding a bouquet of flowers.

"Here." He says as he gives me the flowers.

(How they look right now)

"Thanks your majesty." I say. "Call me Hyung Sik. I don't like it when you call me your highness or

majesty." He says. "Okay, Thanks Hyung Sik." I say. I know I said I would call them as how they are

because I don't want to get punished, but because my mom died, I let a new self take over. "I thought

we were going to something for your special someone." I say. "You don't realize you are my special

someone." He says. My eyes widen. "What?" I say. "I know I have only met you for a month but you

changed something in the palace, and made me feel something that I have never felt before." He says.

He then comes closer to me, grabs my hand and puts it to his chest.

(How they look right now)

"My heart beats every time I see you or just hear your beautiful voice." He says. I just look at him.

"Please tell me you feel the same." He says. "I- I.." I say but was interrupted by someone yelling, "LADY

YEON!!" I turn around to the direction of the voice and see that it is Min hyuk followed by Young Jae

and Hae Eun. They come closer and Young Jae asks, "What were you two doing?" "Your highness, it is

obvious that Prince Hyung Sik was confessing to my dear younger sister." Hae Eun says with a smirk. I

don't know why but it feels like she might have done something to do with them coming here. "Did

Hyung Sik gave you these flowers?" Min Hyuk asked. "Yes but it was for his special someone..." I said.

"And you're his special someone?" Young Jae asked. I just looked at Hyung sik, then at Min hyuk and

Young Jae. "I think I forgot to check a few scrolls. Annyeong." I say as I begin to run. Once I go to my

room, I sit down on my bed and just think. "What is going on, I have only been here for a month." I

say. I put my hands on my head. I hear a knock. I get up and open the door. "Oh." I say. "May I come

in." He asks. I nod. He comes in and I close the door. "What do you need Joo Hyung?" I ask. "I need

help." He says. "With?" I say. "Hae Eun" He says. "What about her?" I say. He comes closer to my ear

and whispers, "I like her." I jump in excitement. "Oh my!!!!" I say. "What are you going to do." I ask.

"Nothing because she doesn't like me." He says. "Does she like someone else?" I ask. He nods. "Who?"

I ask. "Min Hyuk Hyung." He says. I can feel my heart stop. "She likes Prince Min Hyuk." I say. He nods.

"But Hyung doesn't like her, he likes you. He doesn't know that Hae Eun knows that he likes you, which

is why she is slowly hating you. Part of her still loves you because you are her sister but the other part

is blinded by the fact that the guy she loves, loves someone who he just met a month ago." He tells

me. "Since you told me a secret, I will tell you mine." I say. He comes close to me. I whisper in his ear, "I

met your brother way before I entered the Palace, I was his first love and he was mine." I said. His eyes

widen as he backs away. "You were his heart. Why did you break away from him? He loved you a lot,

after you left him, he became extremely cold and everyone feared him." He says. "I had to, they were

going to kill him if I didn't. I was to be in an arranged marriage, they wanted to get rid of him so that I

could get married. I broke my relationship with him so that he wouldn't get killed, a month later, when

I was going to get married, the guy didn't want to get married anymore. So we were both freed. But I

couldn't go back to him anymore." I said. He hugs me. "It's okay, because Hyung still loves you, and

you love him right?" He asks. I look down and hold my moon necklace. "I need to ask but, who gave

you this necklace?" He asks. "Prince Young Jae." I say. "My hyung!" He says. I nod. "What did you

promise him?" He says. "Nothing... it's what he made me feel before and when he gave it to me." I

said. "What did he make you feel?" He asks. "Happy." I say.
