Chapter 5: Cheering us up

Seo Yeon's P.O.V:

(The Next Day)

I lay in bed since, I have no feeling to do anything. The King and Queen allowed us to not work so that

we can recover. I then see something by my window. "Puppets?" I say.

What she sees:

(Pretend that when he say's "my sister in law" he says, "Your mom's" also... Pretend Hae Soo is

Seo Yeon not Hae Soo.)

"Mianhae." He says. "It's fine, but you made me laugh, I wonder how my sister is doing." I say. "She's

not handling well either, she's know Lady Eun the longest so she's having a really hard time." Young

Jae explains. "I know, I'm suffering because I just met her and on the same day, she dies." I said

looking down. "Don't go back in that state of mind, let me make you happy again!" He says. He holds

my hand and drags me somewhere. We end up in the village. "What are we doing here?" I ask. "Going

to try and have a good time." He says.

Min Hyuk's P.O.V:

I was going to check on Seo Yeon, when I see her run out of her room to the garden. I run and hide

behind a wall. I see her with Young Jae. They kept talking and stuff. I was getting angry. "Why is he like

this? Does he like Seo Yeon or something?" I say in a low voice. Next thing I see is him getting her

hand and going away somewhere. I decide to head to my room. When I get there, I see Lady Hae.

"Lady Hae, you should go to your room and get better." I said. "Can you make me happy?" She says. "I

don't know how I can do that?" I say. "Just by staying with me and trying." She says. "Lady Hae, I really

suggest for you to go back to your room." I say. I was about to enter my room when she holds my

arm. "Do you not realize... how much I like you?" She says. "I'm sorry Lady Hae but I do not feel the

same." I say. "Why?" She says. I turn to her and hug her. "Maybe you are doing this because you are

sadden of the situation, so me giving you a hug is all I could do to make you happy." I say. She hugs

me back. She cries into my shoulder. "Why do you wear that mask?" She asks. "Because, this is just

hiding a reminder of someone who hurt me before." I say.

Seo Yeon's P.O.V:

Young Jae takes me to a market where there are a lot of beautiful things. There are necklaces,

bracelets, and rings. I see many necklaces that catch my eye. I go to them and look. They glow.

The Necklaces:

"Did they catch your eye?" Someone asks behind me. I turn around and its an old villager, I see he has

a scar near his bottom lip, I decide to ignore it since it would be really rude to mention it. "Yes

they do." I say. "These are known as The Moon stones, very few are known to exist, I don't give

them out easily, I waited so long to give them to the right person, and you have finally arrived."

He says. I am confused now. "Seo Yeon!" I hear someone call. I turn my direction to the voice

and see Young Jae come to me. "What did you find?" He asks. "The Moon Stones." I say. I point

to the necklaces. "How much does one cost?" Young Jae asks. "I won't charge your Majesty, you

may take all four if you please." The villager says. "Thank you sir." Yougn Jae says as he bows. I

bow and leave with Young Jae. "Which one would you like?" He asks. I look at the four

necklaces. "I like this one." I say as I hold the third necklace. "Keep it then, I will keep the second

one, what shall we do with the rest?" He asks. "You can choose what you want to do with them."

I say. "I'll keep them safe in case we lose these ones." He says. I smile.

The Villager's P.O.V:

I see the Prince with Lee Seo Yeon. "You were never meant to come to Silla, but I made sure you

did so that the future king won't kill us. However, making you come here, made the future king

be replace by the 2nd Prince. He looks all nice and all, but if you hadn't come along, he would

have become more feared than his elder brother." I say in a low voice. I take something from

underneath the table. I take out the scroll.

"Park Min Hyuk, Future King of Silla, one who was never meant to become king." I read quietly.

"You were never meant to become king, but I had to change time, or else your brother would

have killed you and would have married her sister." I said in my head as I look at the picture.

"King Young Jae and Queen Hae Eun, I made sure Seo Yeon were to come, or else Hae Eun would

have done what she had done to change the real king. She would have mentally killed King

Young Jae which would have made him feared by everyone. I did this to protect the world." I said

as I begin to pack my things.
