Meet Up!

Ash's POV (still)

I turn up to the cafe to meet my best friend Ley, as well as Swagger, Zuckles, and Smii7y.

I wave as I approach them, "Hey boys. And Ley!".

"Ash!" Ley runs up to me to greet me with a huge smile and a big hug.

I smile back, "hugs never get old".

"Nope!".

Zuckles starts doing this dinosaur claws thing like he always does and starts acting like a 5 year old. We all laugh at him and me and Ley sit down at the table with the boys, "is Zuckles on something?".

Swagger looks up, "meh. Who knows. I mean he probably is but that's just how he is.".

"True that".

Smii7y turns to me, "just ignore him. You know what he's like during recording sessions.".

I hum and turn to Ley, "so do you know any of the boys?".

"Yeah. I know Ryan".

"You do? How?" I raise my eyebrow. A little part of me is also worried that she might have a thing for Ryan. I love her, and she's my best friend but I hope she doesn't like Ryan in that way.

"I went to Sunny Side Daycare like Ryan did. Went to Sunny Side Nursery with him too. We're good friends and that's how we plan to stay".

Phew.

"Ah right". Thank god it's nothing more.

"Shouldn't you be like, extremely excited right now?".

I raise an eyebrow, "what do you mean?".

She nods her head in the direction behind me, "behind you".

"Oh. Ok?" I turn around to see 3 tanned, tall-ish guys walking towards us who I instantly recognise.

It's Ryan, Toby and Jay. I turn back to Ash with a massive grin, "you bet I'm extremely excited now".

All of us stand up and walk towards them as they walk towards us. As I look at the boys, me and Ryan lock eye contact and he smiles. He runs his fingers through his hair and during those few seconds, he looks adorable. Not that he doesn't look cute any other time. You get what I mean. Ryan gives me a look that says: run hug?

I smile as I nod and almost instantly I run towards Ryan as Ryan runs towards me and just hug each other. As soon as we hug, he lifts me up but places me back down after a few seconds as we continue to hug. No words are said but it doesn't matter. Right now, I think I can speak for the both of us here, we are quite happy just being in each other's presence.  No words needed.

We are hugging each other with a firm grip and we don't want to let go but we eventually part after a minute or so of just solid hugging.

I smile, "Hey Cutie. You're actually taller than I thought you'd be".

He laughs and smiles, "Ay. I'm not small unlike swagger. Anyway, Hey Tiger Girl.".

My eyes lighten up as he calls me his nickname for me, "sit next to me?".

"Duh".

I bring him back to the table where we find ourselves to be the first ones back considering we were hugging for minutes. We sit down next to each other and start talking about how much we've missed each other and how excited we are. Soon the others join us. "Hey Toby, Jay. Good to finally see you in person.".

They both say hey in unison. Toby smiles, "Glad I get to see you in person. Hugs?".

"I can't say no to hugs now can I?" I laugh and I get out my seat and go over to Toby who also gets out of his seat to hug me. I smile as I walk back to Ryan and sit down, "when does Cam arrive?".
